When James, Cephas, and John, recognized as pillars, acknowledged the grace that had been given to me, they gave the right hand of fellowship to me and Barnabas, agreeing that we should go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised.

公認是柱石的雅各、磯法和約翰，既然明白了神所賜給我的恩典，就向巴拿巴和我伸出右手行契合之禮，要我們往外邦人那裡去，而他們往受割禮的人那裡去；

且雅各磯法約翰、人視為柱石者、因知賜我之恩、則施相交之右手於我及巴拿巴、俾往異邦、而彼往受割者、

彼三人素有名譽、為教之柱石、知主賜我斯恩、故施其右手、交我及巴拿巴、使我往教異邦人、而彼往教受割者、

雅各磯法約翰、人所視為教之柱者、既知主賜我此恩、則施右手、交我及巴拿巴、使我與巴拿巴往教異邦人、而彼往教受割禮者、

彼等既見予所受聖寵之不虛、於是號稱教會柱石之雅各伯基法及若望、相率與予及巴拿巴殷勤握手、以表心契；我往外邦、而彼等則傳道於受割禮者。

James, Cephas and John, those esteemed as pillars, gave me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship when they recognized the grace given to me. They agreed that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcised.

James, Peter and John are respected as pillars in the church. They recognized the special grace given to me. So they shook my hand and the hand of Barnabas. They wanted to show they accepted us. They agreed that we should go to the Gentiles. They would go to the Jews.

and when James and Cephas and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given to me, they gave the right hand of fellowship to Barnabas and me, that we should go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised.

In fact, James, Peter, and John, who were known as pillars of the church, recognized the gift God had given me, and they accepted Barnabas and me as their co workers. They encouraged us to keep preaching to the Gentiles, while they continued their work with the Jews.

and when they perceived the grace that was given unto me, James and Cephas and John, they who were reputed to be pillars, gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship, that we should go unto the Gentiles, and they unto the circumcision;

And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we[ should go] unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.

and when James, Cephas, and John, who had a reputation as pillars, recognized the grace that had been given to me, they gave to Barnabas and me the right hand of fellowship, agreeing that we would go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised.

and when they perceived the grace that was given to me, James and Cephas and John, those who were reputed to be pillars, gave to Barnabas and me the right hand of fellowship, that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcision.

For by the grace given to me, I tell everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he should think. Instead, think sensibly, as God has distributed a measure of faith to each one.

The victor: I will make him a pillar in the sanctuary of My God, and he will never go out again. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God— the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God— and My new name.

I went up according to a revelation and presented to them the gospel I preach among the Gentiles— but privately to those recognized as leaders— so that I might not be running, or have run the race, in vain.

We have received grace and apostleship through Him to bring about the obedience of faith among all the nations, on behalf of His name,

And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the forces of Hades will not overpower it.

But when Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face because he stood condemned.For he regularly ate with the Gentiles before certain men came from James. However, when they came, he withdrew and separated himself, because he feared those from the circumcision party.Then the rest of the Jews joined his hypocrisy, so that even Barnabas was carried away by their hypocrisy.But when I saw that they were deviating from the truth of the gospel, I told Cephas in front of everyone,“ If you, who are a Jew, live like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you compel Gentiles to live like Jews?”

in the same way we who are many are one body in Christ and individually members of one another.According to the grace given to us, we have different gifts: If prophecy, use it according to the standard of one’s faith;

The city wall had 12 foundations, and the 12 names of the Lamb’s 12 apostles were on the foundations.The one who spoke with me had a gold measuring rod to measure the city, its gates, and its wall.The city is laid out in a square; its length and width are the same. He measured the city with the rod at 12,000 stadia. Its length, width, and height are equal.Then he measured its wall, 144 cubits according to human measurement, which the angel used.The building material of its wall was jasper, and the city was pure gold like clear glass.The foundations of the city wall were adorned with every kind of precious stone: the first foundation jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald,the fifth sardonyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst.

But if I should be delayed, I have written so that you will know how people ought to act in God’s household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.

After they stopped speaking, James responded:“ Brothers, listen to me!

Based on the gift each one has received, use it to serve others, as good managers of the varied grace of God.If anyone speaks, it should be as one who speaks God’s words; if anyone serves, it should be from the strength God provides, so that God may be glorified through Jesus Christ in everything. To Him belong the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.

This grace was given to me— the least of all the saints— to proclaim to the Gentiles the incalculable riches of the Messiah,

After there had been much debate, Peter stood up and said to them:“ Brothers, you are aware that in the early days God made a choice among you, that by my mouth the Gentiles would hear the gospel message and believe.

Then the apostles and the elders, with the whole church, decided to select men who were among them and to send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas: Judas, called Barsabbas, and Silas, both leading men among the brothers.They wrote this letter to be delivered by them: From the apostles and the elders, your brothers, To the brothers among the Gentiles in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia: Greetings.Because we have heard that some without our authorization went out from us and troubled you with their words and unsettled your hearts,we have unanimously decided to select men and send them to you along with our dearly loved Barnabas and Paul,who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.Therefore we have sent Judas and Silas, who will personally report the same things by word of mouth.For it was the Holy Spirit’s decision— and ours— to put no greater burden on you than these necessary things:that you abstain from food offered to idols, from blood, from eating anything that has been strangled, and from sexual immorality. You will do well if you keep yourselves from these things. Farewell.Then, being sent off, they went down to Antioch, and after gathering the assembly, they delivered the letter.

they begged us insistently for the privilege of sharing in the ministry to the saints,

I labor for this, striving with His strength that works powerfully in me.

what we have seen and heard we also declare to you, so that you may have fellowship along with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.

Joseph, a Levite and a Cypriot by birth, the one the apostles called Barnabas, which is translated Son of Encouragement,

Now from those recognized as important( what they really were makes no difference to me; God does not show favoritism)— they added nothing to me.On the contrary, they saw that I had been entrusted with the gospel for the uncircumcised, just as Peter was for the circumcised,

built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the cornerstone.

Nevertheless, I have written to remind you more boldly on some points because of the grace given me by God

But by God’s grace I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not ineffective. However, I worked more than any of them, yet not I, but God’s grace that was with me.
