彼三人素有名譽、為教之柱石、知主賜我斯恩、故施其右手、交我及巴拿巴、使我往教異邦人、而彼往教受割者、

彼等既見予所受聖寵之不虛、於是號稱教會柱石之雅各伯基法及若望、相率與予及巴拿巴殷勤握手、以表心契；我往外邦、而彼等則傳道於受割禮者。

James, Cephas and John, those esteemed as pillars, gave me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship when they recognized the grace given to me. They agreed that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcised.

James, Peter and John are respected as pillars in the church. They recognized the special grace given to me. So they shook my hand and the hand of Barnabas. They wanted to show they accepted us. They agreed that we should go to the Gentiles. They would go to the Jews.

and when James and Cephas and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given to me, they gave the right hand of fellowship to Barnabas and me, that we should go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised.

In fact, James, Peter, and John, who were known as pillars of the church, recognized the gift God had given me, and they accepted Barnabas and me as their co workers. They encouraged us to keep preaching to the Gentiles, while they continued their work with the Jews.

When James, Cephas, and John— those recognized as pillars— acknowledged the grace that had been given to me, they gave the right hand of fellowship to me and Barnabas, agreeing that we should go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised.

我藉所賜之恩、語於爾曹、自度勿越乎所當度、宜循理而度、依上帝所賦各人之信量、

邑垣十二基、上書十二使徒之名、即羔之使徒也、與我言者執金葦為度、以度其邑與門與垣、邑形四方、長闊相等、以葦度之、得四千里、長闊高相同、度垣得一百四十四尺、使者之度、乃人之度也、垣築以碧玉、邑為澄金、其澄若玻璃焉、邑垣之基、飾以各種寶石、一碧玉、二藍玉、三蒼玉、四青玉、五紅玉、六瑪瑙、七黃玉、八水蒼玉、九淡黃玉、十翡翠玉、十一赤玉、十二紫玉、

然恐稽延、書此遺爾、俾知當如何行於上帝家、即維生上帝會、真理之柱石、

言竟、雅各曰、兄弟其聽之、

各依所受恩賜以相施、如忠信之執事、司上帝鴻恩者、或宣道則依上帝之詔、或執事則依上帝所賜之能、致上帝由耶穌基督凡事受榮、願榮與權歸之、爰及世世、阿們、○

我在聖徒中、乃微之又微者、尚蒙此恩、俾以基督莫測之富有宣諸異邦、

多所辯論、彼得起、語眾曰、兄弟乎、爾知上帝昔於爾中選我、使異邦人由我口聞福音而信、

時、使徒長老與會眾、決意於其中選人、偕保羅巴拿巴往安提阿、即選稱巴撒巴之猶大、及西拉、乃兄弟中之尊者、以書託之、其書云、使徒長老兄弟、請安提阿、叙利亞、基利家、異邦之諸兄弟安、蓋聞數人出自我中、以言擾爾、傾陷爾心、然非我儕所命、我儕同心決意選人、遣偕所愛之巴拿巴保羅就爾、皆為我主耶穌基督名而致命者也、是以遣猶大、西拉、口述此事、蓋聖神與我儕、決意不以他任加爾、惟此要者數端、即戒祭像之物及血、並勒死之牲與淫、爾若戒此、則善矣、願爾安康、○彼等奉遣至安提阿、集眾授書、

懇求我儕、俾與於供事聖徒之恩、

我為此勤勞、依上帝之功用而盡力、乃以其大能行於我衷者也、

夫我以所見所聞者語爾、使爾心交於我儕、我儕亦心交於父、及其子耶穌基督、

有約瑟者、利未族人也、生於居比路、使徒稱為巴拿巴、譯即勸慰子也、

至於有名望者、無論何如人、於我無與、蓋上帝不以貌視人、彼有名望者、無所增益於我、反乎此、既見主託我宣福音於未受割者、亦猶託彼得於已受割者、

建於使徒先知之基、基督耶穌為屋隅之首石、

我毅然致書、使爾記憶、因上帝賜我之恩、

我今為何如人、乃由上帝恩、其恩施我非徒然也、我服勞越眾、要非我也、上帝恩偕我也、
