唉，無知的加拉太人哪！是誰迷惑了你們呢？被釘十字架的耶穌基督，難道不是先前被描繪在你們眼前的嗎？我只想請教你們這一點：你們領受了聖靈，是本於律法上的行為，還是本於信而聽從呢？

這信心和愛是藉著那為你們存留在天上的盼望，這盼望是你們在傳到你們那裡的福音真理之話語中所聽過的，

我說這話，是免得有人用花言巧語欺騙你們。因為，我雖然身體不在你們那裡，心靈卻與你們同在，而且看見你們有秩序，對基督的信仰也堅定不移，我就感到快樂。所以，你們怎樣接受了主基督耶穌，就應當怎樣在他裡面行事，照著你們所受的教導，在他裡面得以扎根、建造，在信仰上得以確立，在感謝中豐足有餘。你們要當心，免得有人用哲學和虛空的妄言把你們擄去；那些是出於人的傳統，出於世界的原則，而不是出於基督。

在基督裡，你們也聽從了真理的話語，就是那使你們得救的福音，並且信了基督，就蒙了所應許的聖靈為印記。

保羅、巴拿巴與他們發生了不小的爭執和辯論，他們就指定保羅、巴拿巴和其中的另一些人為這爭議的問題，上耶路撒冷到使徒們和長老們那裡去。

我們之所以也不住地感謝神，是因為你們接受了從我們所聽的神的話語，沒有把它看做人的話語，而是把它看做神的話語接受了；這確實是神的話語，而且它也正在你們這些信的人裡面做工。

各位蒙愛的人哪，我一直十分殷切地要寫信給你們，談論我們共有的救恩；我感到有必要寫信鼓勵你們，為曾經一次性地託付給聖徒們的信仰而努力爭戰，
