現在我因為告訴你們真理，就成了你們的仇人嗎？

無知的加拉太人啊！誰又迷惑了你們呢？耶穌基督被釘在十字架上的事早就像一幅畫一樣展現在你們眼前了。我只想問，你們領受了聖靈是靠遵行律法呢，還是因為相信所聽見的福音呢？

你們能有這樣的信心和愛心是因為那給你們存在天上的盼望，就是你們從前從福音真道中聽到的盼望。

我講這番話是為了防止有人用花言巧語迷惑你們。現在，我人雖不在你們那裡，心卻和你們在一起，看到你們生活井然有序，對基督堅信不移，我很喜樂。你們既然接受了基督耶穌為主，就當繼續遵從祂，按照你們所受的教導在祂裡面扎根成長，信心堅固，滿懷感恩。你們要謹慎，免得有人用空洞虛假的哲學把你們擄去。這些哲學不是出於基督，而是出於人的傳統和世俗的玄學。

你們聽過真理之道，就是那使你們得救的福音，而且也信了基督。你們既然信祂，就領受了上帝應許賜下的聖靈為印記。

保羅和巴拿巴為這件事與他們激烈地辯論，最後大家決定派保羅、巴拿巴和幾個當地的信徒上耶路撒冷去跟使徒和長老討論這件事。

我們不住地感謝上帝，因為你們從我們這裡聽了上帝的道後就接受了，確信這不是人的道理，而是上帝的道。這道正在你們信的人心裡發揮作用。

親愛的弟兄姊妹，我一直迫切地想寫信跟你們談談我們所共享的救恩，但現在我覺得有必要寫信勸勉你們竭力護衛一次就完整地交給聖徒的真道。
