I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!”

I do not get rid of the grace of God. What if a person could become right with God by obeying the law? Then Christ died for nothing!

I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose.

I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die.

這樣，律法是與神的應許對立嗎？絕對不是！如果律法的頒佈能使人得生命，義就誠然出於律法了。

既是靠恩典，就不憑行為，不然，恩典就不再是恩典了。

那麼，如果百姓藉着利未人的祭司職任能達到完全－因為百姓是在這職分下領受律法的－為甚麼還需要按照麥基洗德的體系另外興起一位祭司，而不按照亞倫的體系呢？

可是我們知道，人稱義不是因律法的行為，而是因信耶穌基督，我們也信了基督耶穌，為要使我們因信基督稱義，不因律法的行為稱義，因為，凡血肉之軀沒有一個能因律法的行為稱義。

基督若沒有復活，我們所傳的就是枉然，你們所信的也是枉然。

我－保羅告訴你們，你們若受割禮，基督就對你們無益了。我再指着凡受割禮的人確實地說，他有義務遵行全部的律法。你們這要靠律法稱義的是與基督隔絕，從恩典中墜落了。

我卻說：「我勞碌是徒然，我盡力是虛無虛空。耶和華誠然以公平待我，我的賞賜在我的神那裏。」

你們若能夠持守我傳給你們的信息，就必因這福音得救，否則你們是徒然相信。

因為不明白神的義，想要立自己的義，他們就不服神的義了。

如果我重新建造我所拆毀的，這就證明自己是違犯律法的人。

既是這樣，我們對這些事還要怎麼說呢？神若幫助我們，誰能抵擋我們呢？

耶穌又說：「你們誠然是廢棄神的誡命，為要守自己的傳統。

基督若沒有復活，你們的信就是徒然，你們仍活在罪裏。

耶和華使列國的籌算歸於無有，使萬民的計謀全無功效。

「你們怎麼說：『我們有智慧，耶和華的律法在我們這裏』？看哪，其實文士的假筆舞弄虛假。
