I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!”

I do not get rid of the grace of God. What if a person could become right with God by obeying the law? Then Christ died for nothing!

這樣，律法是與神的應許反對嗎？斷乎不是！若曾傳一個能叫人得生的律法，義就誠然本乎律法了。

既是出於恩典，就不在乎行為；不然，恩典就不是恩典了。

從前百姓在利未人祭司職任以下受律法，倘若藉這職任能得完全，又何用另外興起一位祭司，照麥基洗德的等次，不照亞倫的等次呢？

既知道人稱義不是因行律法，乃是因信耶穌基督，連我們也信了基督耶穌，使我們因信基督稱義，不因行律法稱義；因為凡有血氣的，沒有一人因行律法稱義。

若基督沒有復活，我們所傳的便是枉然，你們所信的也是枉然；

我－保羅告訴你們，若受割禮，基督就與你們無益了。我再指着凡受割禮的人確實地說，他是欠着行全律法的債。你們這要靠律法稱義的，是與基督隔絕，從恩典中墜落了。

我卻說：我勞碌是徒然；我盡力是虛無虛空。然而，我當得的理必在耶和華那裏；我的賞賜必在我神那裏。

並且你們若不是徒然相信，能以持守我所傳給你們的，就必因這福音得救。

因為不知道神的義，想要立自己的義，就不服神的義了。

我素來所拆毀的，若重新建造，這就證明自己是犯罪的人。

既是這樣，還有甚麼說的呢？神若幫助我們，誰能敵擋我們呢？

又說：「你們誠然是廢棄神的誡命，要守自己的遺傳。

基督若沒有復活，你們的信便是徒然，你們仍在罪裏。

耶和華使列國的籌算歸於無有，使眾民的思念無有功效。

你們怎麼說：我們有智慧，耶和華的律法在我們這裏？看哪，文士的假筆舞弄虛假。
