我是照着启示上去的，向他们陈述了我在外邦人中所传的福音，不过是单独地向那些公认是人物的做了陈述，免得我过去或是现在所奔跑的都落了空。

蓋蒙天主啟示、乃有此行。至則將予所傳於外邦之福音、自陳於德高望重之同人；庶幾我前後之所奔走努力者、莫為徒勞。

I went in response to a revelation and, meeting privately with those esteemed as leaders, I presented to them the gospel that I preach among the Gentiles. I wanted to be sure I was not running and had not been running my race in vain.

I went because God showed me what he wanted me to do. I spoke in private to those who are respected as leaders. I told them the good news that I preach among the Gentiles. I wanted to be sure I wasn’t running my race for no purpose. And I wanted to know that I had not been running my race for no purpose.

I went up because of a revelation and set before them( though privately before those who seemed influential) the gospel that I proclaim among the Gentiles, in order to make sure I was not running or had not run in vain.

I went there because God revealed to me that I should go. While I was there I met privately with those considered to be leaders of the church and shared with them the message I had been preaching to the Gentiles. I wanted to make sure that we were in agreement, for fear that all my efforts had been wasted and I was running the race for nothing.

公认是柱石的雅各、矶法和约翰，既然明白了神所赐给我的恩典，就向巴拿巴和我伸出右手行契合之礼，要我们往外邦人那里去，而他们往受割礼的人那里去；

为此，我既然不能再等了，就派提摩太去，要知道你们的信仰怎样，恐怕那试探者诱惑了你们，我们所劳苦的落了空。

但我们却传扬被钉十字架的基督——对犹太人来说是绊脚石，对外邦人来说是愚拙的；

这时，全体会众都静默无声，听巴拿巴和保罗述说神藉着他们在外邦人中所行的神迹和奇事。

因此，我奔跑不像没有目标的；我斗拳不像打空气的；

因为我曾下定决心，在你们中间不知道别的，只知道耶稣基督，就是被钉了十字架的这一位。

来到耶路撒冷，他们受到教会、使徒们和长老们的欢迎，就向大家传讲了神与他们一起做的事。

当夜，主站在保罗旁边，说：“你要鼓起勇气！你怎样在耶路撒冷郑重地见证有关我的事，也必须照样在罗马做见证。”

“看哪，我差派你们出去，就像把羊送进狼群中，所以你们要像蛇那样聪明，像鸽子那样纯洁。

难道你们不知道，赛场上奔跑的人虽然都在跑，但是得奖的只有一个吗？你们也应当这样奔跑，好使你们得着奖赏。

在夜里，主藉着异象对保罗说：“不要怕，只管讲！不要沉默不语，

将他的儿子启示在我里面，好使我在外邦人中传扬他。我没有立刻与人商量，

几只死苍蝇使做香的膏油腐烂发臭，一点点愚昧也能压过智慧和尊荣。

但有一个名叫迦玛列的法利赛人，是全体民众所尊敬的律法教师，在议会中站了起来，下令把使徒们暂时带到外面去，

因此，你们要在主里满怀喜乐地欢迎他，也要敬重这样的人，

夜里，保罗看见了一个异象：一个马其顿人站着恳求他，说：“请你过来，到马其顿来帮助我们。”当保罗看见这异象之后，我们就认定是神召唤我们去传福音给他们，于是立刻设法前往马其顿省。
