By the law, I died as far as the law is concerned. I died so that I might live for God.

For through the law I died to the law, so that I might live to God.

For when I tried to keep the law, it condemned me. So I died to the law— I stopped trying to meet all its requirements— so that I might live for God.

For through the law I died to the law, so that I might live for God.

For through the Law I died to the Law, so that I might live for God.

For I through the law died to the law that I might live to God.

For I through the law died unto the law, that I might live unto God.

For through the law I have died to the law, so that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Christ

In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

So, my brothers and sisters, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God.

By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?

Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God.Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.

But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.What shall we say, then? Is the law sinful? Certainly not! Nevertheless, I would not have known what sin was had it not been for the law. For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said,“ You shall not covet.”But sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, produced in me every kind of coveting. For apart from the law, sin was dead.Once I was alive apart from the law; but when the commandment came, sin sprang to life and I died.I found that the very commandment that was intended to bring life actually brought death.For sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, deceived me, and through the commandment put me to death.

For none of us lives for ourselves alone, and none of us dies for ourselves alone.If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.

And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.

He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him.

How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!

Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.Moses writes this about the righteousness that is by the law:“ The person who does these things will live by them.”

Since you died with Christ to the elemental spiritual forces of this world, why, as though you still belonged to the world, do you submit to its rules:

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith.

For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.

who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.

“ He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness;“ by his wounds you have been healed.”

Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because whoever suffers in the body is done with sin.As a result, they do not live the rest of their earthly lives for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God.

We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin.

For in my inner being I delight in God’s law;but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me.

because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.

The law was brought in so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more,

For this is the reason the gospel was preached even to those who are now dead, so that they might be judged according to human standards in regard to the body, but live according to God in regard to the spirit.

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.

For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written:“ Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.”

because the law brings wrath. And where there is no law there is no transgression.
