“ But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is Christ therefore a minister of sin? Certainly not!

但如果我们自己寻求在基督里被称为义，却被发现还是罪人，那么，难道基督就成了罪的仆人吗？绝对不是！

我們若求在基督裏稱義，卻仍舊是罪人，難道基督是叫人犯罪的嗎？斷乎不是！

我們若求在基督裏稱義，自己卻還被視為罪人，那麼，基督是罪的用人嗎？絕對不是！

如果我們指望在基督裡被稱為義人，結果卻仍是罪人，難道基督助長罪惡嗎？當然不是！

如果我們尋求在基督裡稱義，卻仍然是罪人，難道基督是使人犯罪的嗎？絕對不是。

但倘若我們這尋求在基督裏得稱為義的人也見得自己是觸犯律法的罪人，那麼、基督是助人犯罪的僕役麼？斷乎不是。

但如果我們自己尋求在基督裡被稱為義，卻被發現還是罪人，那麼，難道基督就成了罪的僕人嗎？絕對不是！

我儕於基督而求見義、仍不免為罪人、則基督豈為罪之役乎、非也、

或曰、我恃基督而稱義、又陷乎罪、基督得毋助人為罪乎、曰、非也、

我儕賴基督求得稱義、若仍因犯律法視為罪人、則基督豈非助人犯罪乎、非也、

今如一面求成義於基督聖道之中、同時仍以律法下之罪人自居、是不啻以基督為罪階也。有是理乎？

“ But if, in seeking to be justified in Christ, we Jews find ourselves also among the sinners, doesn’t that mean that Christ promotes sin? Absolutely not!

We are seeking to be made right with God through Christ. As we do, what if we find that we who are Jews are also sinners? Does that mean that Christ causes us to sin? Certainly not!

But if, in our endeavor to be justified in Christ, we too were found to be sinners, is Christ then a servant of sin? Certainly not!

But suppose we seek to be made right with God through faith in Christ and then we are found guilty because we have abandoned the law. Would that mean Christ has led us into sin? Absolutely not!

But if we ourselves are also found to be“ sinners” while seeking to be justified by Christ, is Christ then a promoter of sin? Absolutely not!

But if, while seeking to be justified in Christ, we ourselves have also been found sinners, is Christ then a servant of sin? Far from it!

But if, while we sought to be justified in Christ, we ourselves also were found sinners, is Christ a minister of sin? God forbid.

But if we ourselves are also found to be“ sinners” while seeking to be justified by Christ, is Christ then a promoter of sin? Absolutely not!

But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners,[ is] therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.

But if while seeking to be justified in Christ we ourselves have also been found to be sinners, is Christ then one who encourages sin? Absolutely not!

But if while we sought to be justified in Christ, we ourselves also were found sinners, is Christ a servant of sin? Certainly not!

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?

We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,

Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar. As it is written:“ That You may be justified in Your words, And may overcome when You are judged.”

What then? Israel has not obtained what it seeks; but the elect have obtained it, and the rest were blinded.

a Minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle which the Lord erected, and not man.

But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood.Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens;who does not need daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the people’s, for this He did once for all when He offered up Himself.For the law appoints as high priests men who have weakness, but the word of the oath, which came after the law, appoints the Son who has been perfected forever.

Certainly not! For then how will God judge the world?

Now when Peter had come to Antioch, I withstood him to his face, because he was to be blamed;

He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.

And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”

Now I say that Jesus Christ has become a servant to the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made to the fathers,

What shall we say then? That Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness of faith;but Israel, pursuing the law of righteousness, has not attained to the law of righteousness.Why? Because they did not seek it by faith, but as it were, by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumbling stone.As it is written:“ Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and rock of offense, And whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”

Is the law then against the promises of God? Certainly not! For if there had been a law given which could have given life, truly righteousness would have been by the law.

But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away,how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious?For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.

And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin.
