But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners,[ is] therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.

如果我們指望在基督裡被稱為義人，結果卻仍是罪人，難道基督助長罪惡嗎？當然不是！

如果我們尋求在基督裡稱義，卻仍然是罪人，難道基督是使人犯罪的嗎？絕對不是。

但倘若我們這尋求在基督裏得稱為義的人也見得自己是觸犯律法的罪人，那麼、基督是助人犯罪的僕役麼？斷乎不是。

但如果我們自己尋求在基督裡被稱為義，卻被發現還是罪人，那麼，難道基督就成了罪的僕人嗎？絕對不是！

我儕於基督而求見義、仍不免為罪人、則基督豈為罪之役乎、非也、

或曰、我恃基督而稱義、又陷乎罪、基督得毋助人為罪乎、曰、非也、

我儕賴基督求得稱義、若仍因犯律法視為罪人、則基督豈非助人犯罪乎、非也、

今如一面求成義於基督聖道之中、同時仍以律法下之罪人自居、是不啻以基督為罪階也。有是理乎？

“ But if, in seeking to be justified in Christ, we Jews find ourselves also among the sinners, doesn’t that mean that Christ promotes sin? Absolutely not!

We are seeking to be made right with God through Christ. As we do, what if we find that we who are Jews are also sinners? Does that mean that Christ causes us to sin? Certainly not!

But if, in our endeavor to be justified in Christ, we too were found to be sinners, is Christ then a servant of sin? Certainly not!

But suppose we seek to be made right with God through faith in Christ and then we are found guilty because we have abandoned the law. Would that mean Christ has led us into sin? Absolutely not!

But if we ourselves are also found to be“ sinners” while seeking to be justified by Christ, is Christ then a promoter of sin? Absolutely not!

But if, while seeking to be justified in Christ, we ourselves have also been found sinners, is Christ then a servant of sin? Far from it!

“ But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is Christ therefore a minister of sin? Certainly not!

But if, while we sought to be justified in Christ, we ourselves also were found sinners, is Christ a minister of sin? God forbid.

But if we ourselves are also found to be“ sinners” while seeking to be justified by Christ, is Christ then a promoter of sin? Absolutely not!

But if while seeking to be justified in Christ we ourselves have also been found to be sinners, is Christ then one who encourages sin? Absolutely not!

But if while we sought to be justified in Christ, we ourselves also were found sinners, is Christ a servant of sin? Certainly not!

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

We[ who are] Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,

God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded

A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.

But this[ man], because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.For such an high priest became us,[ who is] holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law,[ maketh] the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.

God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world?

But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises[ made] unto the fathers:

What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.Wherefore? Because[ they sought it] not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

[ Is] the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.

But if the ministration of death, written[ and] engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which[ glory] was to be done away:How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?For if the ministration of condemnation[ be] glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.

And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
