当时被誉为教会柱石的雅各、彼得和约翰明白了上帝赐给我的恩典之后，就与我和巴拿巴用右手行相交之礼，让我们向外族人传福音，他们向受割礼的人传福音。

这奥秘就是外族人能够在基督耶稣里借着福音与以色列人同做后嗣，同为一体，同享应许。

当时，彼得还坐在外面的院子里，有一个婢女走过来对他说：“你也是跟那个加利利人耶稣一伙的。”彼得却当众否认：“我不知道你在说什么。”正当他走到门口要离开时，另一个婢女看见他，就对旁边的人说：“这个人是跟拿撒勒人耶稣一伙的！”彼得再次否认，并发誓说：“我不认识那个人。”过了一会儿，旁边站着的人过来对彼得说：“你肯定也是他们一伙的，听你的口音就知道了。”彼得又赌咒又发誓，说：“我不认识那个人！”就在这时候，鸡叫了。彼得想起耶稣说的话：“在鸡叫以前，你会三次不认我。”他就跑出去，失声痛哭。

从此，你们不再是外人或过客，你们与众圣徒一样是天国的子民，是上帝家里的人了。你们已被建立在众使徒和先知们的基础上，基督耶稣自己是房角石。整座建筑的各部分都靠祂巧妙地连接在一起，逐渐成为主的圣殿。你们也靠着祂被建造在一起，成为上帝借着圣灵居住的地方。

惧怕人的必自陷网罗，信靠耶和华的必安稳。

杜绝所有的恶事。

并废除了以诫命和规条为内容的律法制度。祂这样做是为了在自己里面把双方造成一个新人，成就和平，

第二天，保罗和我们去见雅各，众长老都在那里。保罗向大家问安之后，便一一述说上帝如何借着他传福音给外族人。大家听了，都同声赞美上帝，又对保罗说：“弟兄，你知道数以万计的犹太人信了主，他们都严守律法。他们听见有人说你教导住在外族人中的犹太人背弃摩西的律法，不替孩子行割礼，也不遵守犹太人的规矩。他们一定会听到你来这里的消息，这该怎么办？请你听我们的建议，这里有四位向上帝许过愿的弟兄，你和他们一起去行洁净礼，并由你替他们付费，让他们可以剃头，好叫众人知道你严守律法，循规蹈矩，关于你的传闻都是假的。至于那些外族信徒，我们已经写信吩咐他们，不可吃祭过偶像的食物，不可吃血和勒死的牲畜，不可淫乱。”

还对人说，‘站远点，别挨近我，因为我比你圣洁！’我被这些人气得鼻孔冒烟，整天怒火难息。

“你们惧怕谁，以致对我说谎，不把我放在心上，忘记我？你们不再敬畏我，是因为我长期沉默吗？
