Then after fourteen years, I went up again to Jerusalem, this time with Barnabas. I took Titus along also.

And the rest of the Jews also joined with him in this hypocrisy, so that even Barnabas was led astray with them by their hypocrisy.

Yet not even Titus, who was with me, was compelled to be circumcised, although he was a Greek.

To Titus, my genuine son in a common faith. Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior!

When Paul and Barnabas had a major argument and debate with them, the church appointed Paul and Barnabas and some others from among them to go up to meet with the apostles and elders in Jerusalem about this point of disagreement.So they were sent on their way by the church, and as they passed through both Phoenicia and Samaria, they were relating at length the conversion of the Gentiles and bringing great joy to all the brothers.When they arrived in Jerusalem, they were received by the church and the apostles and the elders, and they reported all the things God had done with them.

we have unanimously decided to choose men to send to you along with our dear friends Barnabas and Paul,

While they were serving the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said,“ Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”

After some days Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let’s return and visit the brothers in every town where we proclaimed the word of the Lord to see how they are doing.”Barnabas wanted to bring John called Mark along with them too,but Paul insisted that they should not take along this one who had left them in Pamphylia and had not accompanied them in the work.They had a sharp disagreement, so that they parted company. Barnabas took along Mark and sailed away to Cyprus,

So Joseph, a Levite who was a native of Cyprus, called by the apostles Barnabas( which is translated“ son of encouragement”),sold a field that belonged to him and brought the money and placed it at the apostles’ feet.

They did so, sending their financial aid to the elders by Barnabas and Saul.

Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Cephas and get information from him, and I stayed with him fifteen days.

If there is any question about Titus, he is my partner and fellow worker among you; if there is any question about our brothers, they are messengers of the churches, a glory to Christ.

Or do only Barnabas and I lack the right not to work?

But thanks be to God who put in the heart of Titus the same devotion I have for you,

But the Jews incited the God- fearing women of high social standing and the prominent men of the city, stirred up persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and threw them out of their region.

Then Barnabas departed for Tarsus to look for Saul,

Aristarchus, my fellow prisoner, sends you greetings, as does Mark, the cousin of Barnabas( about whom you received instructions; if he comes to you, welcome him).

They began to call Barnabas Zeus and Paul Hermes, because he was the chief speaker.

So Barnabas and Saul returned to Jerusalem when they had completed their mission, bringing along with them John Mark.
