Then after an interval of fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus along also.

Then after fourteen years, I went up again to Jerusalem, this time with Barnabas. I took Titus along also.

The rest of the Jews joined him in hypocrisy, with the result that even Barnabas was carried away by their hypocrisy.

But not even Titus, who was with me, though he was a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised.

To Titus, my true son in a common faith: Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior.

And after Paul and Barnabas had a heated argument and debate with them, the brothers determined that Paul and Barnabas and some others of them should go up to Jerusalem to the apostles and elders concerning this issue.Therefore, after being sent on their way by the church, they were passing through both Phoenicia and Samaria, describing in detail the conversion of the Gentiles, and they were bringing great joy to all the brothers and sisters.When they arrived in Jerusalem, they were received by the church, the apostles, and the elders, and they reported all that God had done with them.

it seemed good to us, having become of one mind, to select men to send to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,

While they were serving the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said,“ Set Barnabas and Saul apart for Me for the work to which I have called them.”

After some days Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let’s return and visit the brothers and sisters in every city in which we proclaimed the word of the Lord, and see how they are.”Barnabas wanted to take John, called Mark, along with them also.But Paul was of the opinion that they should not take along with them this man who had deserted them in Pamphylia and had not gone with them to the work.Now it turned into such a sharp disagreement that they separated from one another, and Barnabas took Mark with him and sailed away to Cyprus.

Now Joseph, a Levite of Cyprian birth, who was also called Barnabas by the apostles( which translated means Son of Encouragement),owned a tract of land. So he sold it, and brought the money and laid it at the apostles’ feet.

And they did this, sending it with Barnabas and Saul to the elders.

Then three years later I went up to Jerusalem to become acquainted with Cephas, and stayed with him for fifteen days.

As for Titus, he is my partner and fellow worker among you; as for our brothers, they are messengers of the churches, a glory to Christ.

Or do only Barnabas and I have no right to refrain from working?

But thanks be to God who puts the same earnestness in your behalf in the heart of Titus.

But the Jews incited the devout women of prominence and the leading men of the city, and instigated a persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and drove them out of their region.

And he left for Tarsus to look for Saul;

Aristarchus, my fellow prisoner, sends you his greetings; and also Barnabas’ cousin Mark( about whom you received instructions; if he comes to you, welcome him);

And they began calling Barnabas, Zeus, and Paul, Hermes, since he was the chief speaker.

And Barnabas and Saul returned when they had fulfilled their mission to Jerusalem, taking along with them John, who was also called Mark.
