Then after fourteen years, I went up again to Jerusalem, this time with Barnabas. I took Titus along also.

Then the rest of the Jews joined his hypocrisy, so that even Barnabas was led astray by their hypocrisy.

But not even Titus, who was with me, was compelled to be circumcised, even though he was a Greek.

To Titus, my true son in our common faith. Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior.

After Paul and Barnabas had engaged them in serious argument and debate, Paul and Barnabas and some others were appointed to go up to the apostles and elders in Jerusalem about this issue.When they had been sent on their way by the church, they passed through both Phoenicia and Samaria, describing in detail the conversion of the Gentiles, and they brought great joy to all the brothers and sisters.When they arrived at Jerusalem, they were welcomed by the church, the apostles, and the elders, and they reported all that God had done with them.

we have unanimously decided to select men and send them to you along with our dearly loved Barnabas and Paul,

As they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said,“ Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”

After some time had passed, Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let’s go back and visit the brothers and sisters in every town where we have preached the word of the Lord and see how they’re doing.”Barnabas wanted to take along John who was called Mark.But Paul insisted that they should not take along this man who had deserted them in Pamphylia and had not gone on with them to the work.They had such a sharp disagreement that they parted company, and Barnabas took Mark with him and sailed off to Cyprus.

Joseph, a Levite from Cyprus by birth, the one the apostles called Barnabas( which is translated Son of Encouragement),sold a field he owned, brought the money, and laid it at the apostles’ feet.

They did this, sending it to the elders by means of Barnabas and Saul.

Then after three years I did go up to Jerusalem to get to know Cephas, and I stayed with him fifteen days.

As for Titus, he is my partner and coworker for you; as for our brothers, they are the messengers of the churches, the glory of Christ.

Or do only Barnabas and I have no right to refrain from working?

Thanks be to God, who put the same concern for you into the heart of Titus.

But the Jews incited the prominent God-fearing women and the leading men of the city. They stirred up persecution against Paul and Barnabas and expelled them from their district.

Then he went to Tarsus to search for Saul,

Aristarchus, my fellow prisoner, sends you greetings, as does Mark, Barnabas’s cousin( concerning whom you have received instructions: if he comes to you, welcome him),

Barnabas they called Zeus, and Paul, Hermes, because he was the chief speaker.

After they had completed their relief mission, Barnabas and Saul returned to Jerusalem, taking along John who was called Mark.
