他們只是聽說：「以前逼迫我們的那個人，現在卻在傳揚他曾經殘害過的信仰。」

第聞素窘逐我儕者、今宣昔所殘賊之道、

特聞我素窘逐彼者、以所殘賊之道、今傳為福音、

第聞素窘逐之者、窘逐之者原文作窘逐我儕者今傳昔所殘害之道、

第聞昔日之逼辱同人、摧殘聖道者、今已憣然歸正、而弘揚聖道矣；

They only heard the report:“ The man who formerly persecuted us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy.”

They only heard others say,“ The man who used to attack us has changed. He is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy.”

They only were hearing it said,“ He who used to persecute us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy.”

All they knew was that people were saying,“ The one who used to persecute us is now preaching the very faith he tried to destroy!”

They simply kept hearing,“ He who formerly persecuted us now preaches the faith he once tried to destroy.”

but they only kept hearing,“ The man who once persecuted us is now preaching the faith which he once tried to destroy.”

But they were hearing only,“ He who formerly persecuted us now preaches the faith which he once tried to destroy.”

but they only heard say, He that once persecuted us now preacheth the faith of which he once made havoc;

最后也向我显现；我好像一个未到产期而生的人。我原是使徒中最小的，本来没有资格称为使徒，因为我曾经迫害神的教会。然而靠着神的恩典，我得以有了今天，而且他赐给我的恩典并没有落空；我比众使徒格外劳苦，其实不是我，而是神的恩典与我同在。

但亚拿尼亚回答：“主啊，我听见许多人说起这个人，他在耶路撒冷作了许多苦害你圣徒的事；

神的道传开了；在耶路撒冷，门徒人数大大增加，有很多祭司也信从了真道。

我从前是亵渎神的、迫害人的、凌辱人的，然而我还蒙了怜悯，因为我是在不信的时候，由于无知而作的。我们主的恩典，随着在基督耶稣里的信心和爱心，在我身上越发增加。“基督耶稣降世，为要拯救罪人。”这话是可信的，是值得完全接纳的。在罪人中我是个罪魁。可是，我竟然蒙了怜悯，好让基督耶稣在我这个罪魁身上，显明他完全的忍耐，给后来信他得永生的人作榜样。

随即在各会堂传讲耶稣，说他是神的儿子。

扫罗到了耶路撒冷，想要接近门徒，但大家都怕他，不信他是个门徒。
