於各會堂傳揚耶穌為上主之子；聞者異曰『耶路撒冷殘害呼籲斯名者、非斯人乎？此來非欲網弋若輩、以解司祭長乎？』然掃羅心志益堅、神力彌增、辯折大馬士革之猶太人、而證耶穌即為基督。久之、猶太人乃共謀誅滅掃羅、其謀為掃羅所覺。若輩晝夜偵伺、伏於邑門、意在必殺。門徒乃乘夜以筐自墻縋之下。

閱三載、乃上耶路撒冷、謁基法、相處旬有五日。
