I do not want you to be unaware, brothers and sisters, that I planned many times to come to you( but have been prevented from doing so until now) in order that I might have a harvest among you, just as I have had among the other Gentiles.I am obligated both to Greeks and non-Greeks, both to the wise and the foolish.

I am talking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I take pride in my ministry

I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel I preached is not of human origin.I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

“ Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

He said of his father and mother,‘ I have no regard for them.’ He did not recognize his brothers or acknowledge his own children, but he watched over your word and guarded your covenant.

However, as it is written:“ What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him—these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us.This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit- taught words.

For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles—

in their effort to keep us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved. In this way they always heap up their sins to the limit. The wrath of God has come upon them at last.

Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death— that is, the devil—

I have become its servant by the commission God gave me to present to you the word of God in its fullness—the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the Lord’s people.To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Then after fourteen years, I went up again to Jerusalem, this time with Barnabas. I took Titus along also.

I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.

And of this gospel I was appointed a herald and an apostle and a teacher.

And for this purpose I was appointed a herald and an apostle— I am telling the truth, I am not lying— and a true and faithful teacher of the Gentiles.

So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer.
