For God, who said,“ Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

I do not want you to be unaware, brothers and sisters, that often I have planned to come to you( and have been prevented so far) so that I may obtain some fruit among you also just as among the rest of the Gentiles.I am under obligation both to Greeks and to the uncultured, both to the wise and to the foolish.

And He said to another,“ Follow Me.” But he said,“ Lord, permit me first to go and bury my father.”But He said to him,“ Allow the dead to bury their own dead; but as for you, go and proclaim everywhere the kingdom of God.”Another also said,“ I will follow You, Lord; but first permit me to say goodbye to those at my home.”But Jesus said to him,“ No one, after putting his hand to the plow and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”

But I am speaking to you who are Gentiles. Therefore insofar as I am an apostle of Gentiles, I magnify my ministry

For I would have you know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel which was preached by me is not of human invention.For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Keep watching and praying, so that you do not come into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

So also the thoughts of God no one knows, except the Spirit of God.Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God.We also speak these things, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words.

For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles—

to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, ministering as a priest the gospel of God, so that my offering of the Gentiles may become acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.Therefore in Christ Jesus I have found reason for boasting in things pertaining to God.For I will not presume to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me, resulting in the obedience of the Gentiles by word and deed,in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Spirit; so that from Jerusalem and all around as far as Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

But from those who were of considerable repute( what they were makes no difference to me; God shows no favoritism)— well, those who were of repute contributed nothing to me.But on the contrary, seeing that I had been entrusted with the gospel to the uncircumcised, just as Peter had been to the circumcised( for He who was at work for Peter in his apostleship to the circumcised was at work for me also to the Gentiles),and recognizing the grace that had been given to me, James and Cephas and John, who were reputed to be pillars, gave to me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship, so that we might go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcised.

hindering us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved; with the result that they always reach the limit of their sins. But wrath has come upon them fully.

Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, so that through death He might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil,

I was made a minister of this church according to the commission from God granted to me for your benefit, so that I might fully carry out the preaching of the word of God,that is, the mystery which had been hidden from the past ages and generations, but now has been revealed to His saints,to whom God willed to make known what the wealth of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles is, the mystery that is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Then after an interval of fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus along also.

Now I say this, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.

For this I was appointed as a preacher and an apostle( I am telling the truth, I am not lying), as a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

Therefore from now on we recognize no one by the flesh; even though we have known Christ by the flesh, yet now we know Him in this way no longer.
