to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles, my immediate response was not to consult any human being.

to show his Son in my life. He wanted me to preach about Jesus among the Gentiles. When God appointed me, I decided right away not to ask anyone for advice.

which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit.This mystery is that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.Of this gospel I was made a minister according to the gift of God’s grace, which was given me by the working of his power.To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,and to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God, who created all things,so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.

delivering you from your people and from the Gentiles— to whom I am sending youto open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’“ Therefore, O King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision,but declared first to those in Damascus, then in Jerusalem and throughout all the region of Judea, and also to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, performing deeds in keeping with their repentance.

For God, who said,“ Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that I have often intended to come to you( but thus far have been prevented), in order that I may reap some harvest among you as well as among the rest of the Gentiles.I am under obligation both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to the wise and to the foolish.

To another he said,“ Follow me.” But he said,“ Lord, let me first go and bury my father.”And Jesus said to him,“ Leave the dead to bury their own dead. But as for you, go and proclaim the kingdom of God.”Yet another said,“ I will follow you, Lord, but let me first say farewell to those at my home.”Jesus said to him,“ No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.”

Now I am speaking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch then as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry

For I would have you know, brothers, that the gospel that was preached by me is not man’s gospel.For I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ.

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

who said of his father and mother,‘ I regard them not’; he disowned his brothers and ignored his children. For they observed your word and kept your covenant.

But, as it is written,“ What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”—these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.For who knows a person’s thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God.And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual.

For this reason I, Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus on behalf of you Gentiles—

to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles in the priestly service of the gospel of God, so that the offering of the Gentiles may be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.In Christ Jesus, then, I have reason to be proud of my work for God.For I will not venture to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me to bring the Gentiles to obedience— by word and deed,by the power of signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God— so that from Jerusalem and all the way around to Illyricum I have fulfilled the ministry of the gospel of Christ;

And he said to me,‘ Go, for I will send you far away to the Gentiles.’”

And from those who seemed to be influential( what they were makes no difference to me; God shows no partiality)— those, I say, who seemed influential added nothing to me.On the contrary, when they saw that I had been entrusted with the gospel to the uncircumcised, just as Peter had been entrusted with the gospel to the circumcised( for he who worked through Peter for his apostolic ministry to the circumcised worked also through me for mine to the Gentiles),and when James and Cephas and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given to me, they gave the right hand of fellowship to Barnabas and me, that we should go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised.

by hindering us from speaking to the Gentiles that they might be saved— so as always to fill up the measure of their sins. But wrath has come upon them at last!

Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil,

of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God that was given to me for you, to make the word of God fully known,the mystery hidden for ages and generations but now revealed to his saints.To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Then after fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus along with me.

I tell you this, brothers: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.

for which I was appointed a preacher and apostle and teacher,

For this I was appointed a preacher and an apostle( I am telling the truth, I am not lying), a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

From now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh, we regard him thus no longer.
