to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles, my immediate response was not to consult any human being.

to show his Son in my life. He wanted me to preach about Jesus among the Gentiles. When God appointed me, I decided right away not to ask anyone for advice.

This was not made known to people in other generations as it is now revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit:The Gentiles are coheirs, members of the same body, and partners in the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.I was made a servant of this gospel by the gift of God’s grace that was given to me by the working of his power.This grace was given to me— the least of all the saints— to proclaim to the Gentiles the incalculable riches of Christ,and to shed light for all about the administration of the mystery hidden for ages in God who created all things.This is so that God’s multi-faceted wisdom may now be made known through the church to the rulers and authorities in the heavens.

I will rescue you from your people and from the Gentiles. I am sending you to themto open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a share among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’“ So then, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision.Instead, I preached to those in Damascus first, and to those in Jerusalem and in all the region of Judea, and to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works worthy of repentance.

For God who said,“ Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of God’s glory in the face of Jesus Christ.

Now I don’t want you to be unaware, brothers and sisters, that I often planned to come to you( but was prevented until now) in order that I might have a fruitful ministry among you, just as I have had among the rest of the Gentiles.I am obligated both to Greeks and barbarians, both to the wise and the foolish.

Then he said to another,“ Follow me.”“ Lord,” he said,“ first let me go bury my father.”But he told him,“ Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and spread the news of the kingdom of God.”Another said,“ I will follow you, Lord, but first let me go and say good-bye to those at my house.”But Jesus said to him,“ No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.”

Now I am speaking to you Gentiles. Insofar as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry,

For I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel preached by me is not of human origin.For I did not receive it from a human source and I was not taught it, but it came by a revelation of Jesus Christ.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against evil, spiritual forces in the heavens.

Stay awake and pray, so that you won’t enter into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

He said about his father and mother,“ I do not regard them.” He disregarded his brothers and didn’t acknowledge his sons, for they kept your word and maintained your covenant.

But as it is written, What no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human heart has conceived— God has prepared these things for those who love him.Now God has revealed these things to us by the Spirit, since the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.For who knows a person’s thoughts except his spirit within him? In the same way, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who comes from God, so that we may understand what has been freely given to us by God.We also speak these things, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual things to spiritual people.

For this reason, I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus on behalf of you Gentiles—

to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, serving as a priest of the gospel of God. God’s purpose is that the Gentiles may be an acceptable offering, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.Therefore I have reason to boast in Christ Jesus regarding what pertains to God.For I would not dare say anything except what Christ has accomplished through me by word and deed for the obedience of the Gentiles,by the power of miraculous signs and wonders, and by the power of God’s Spirit. As a result, I have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ from Jerusalem all the way around to Illyricum.

“ He said to me,‘ Go, because I will send you far away to the Gentiles.’”

Now from those recognized as important( what they once were makes no difference to me; God does not show favoritism)— they added nothing to me.On the contrary, they saw that I had been entrusted with the gospel for the uncircumcised, just as Peter was for the circumcised,since the one at work in Peter for an apostleship to the circumcised was also at work in me for the Gentiles.When James, Cephas, and John— those recognized as pillars— acknowledged the grace that had been given to me, they gave the right hand of fellowship to me and Barnabas, agreeing that we should go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised.

by keeping us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved. As a result, they are constantly filling up their sins to the limit, and wrath has overtaken them at last.

Now since the children have flesh and blood in common, Jesus also shared in these, so that through his death he might destroy the one holding the power of death— that is, the devil—

I have become its servant, according to God’s commission that was given to me for you, to make the word of God fully known,the mystery hidden for ages and generations but now revealed to his saints.God wanted to make known among the Gentiles the glorious wealth of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Then after fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus along also.

What I am saying, brothers and sisters, is this: Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor can corruption inherit incorruption.

For this gospel I was appointed a herald, apostle, and teacher,

For this I was appointed a herald, an apostle( I am telling the truth; I am not lying), and a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

From now on, then, we do not know anyone from a worldly perspective. Even if we have known Christ from a worldly perspective, yet now we no longer know him in this way.
