For I would have you know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel which was preached by me is not of human invention.For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ.

But the Lord said to him,“ Go, for he is a chosen instrument of Mine, to bear My name before the Gentiles and kings and the sons of Israel;for I will show him how much he must suffer in behalf of My name.”

Paul, a bond servant of Christ Jesus, called as an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God,

but at the proper time revealed His word in the proclamation with which I was entrusted according to the commandment of God our Savior;

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and our brother Timothy, To the church of God which is at Corinth with all the saints who are throughout Achaia:

and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood—

Paul, called as an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and our brother Sosthenes,

And he said,‘ The God of our fathers has appointed you to know His will and to see the Righteous One and to hear a message from His mouth.For you will be a witness for Him to all people of what you have seen and heard.Now why do you delay? Get up and be baptized, and wash away your sins by calling on His name.’“ It happened when I returned to Jerusalem and was praying in the temple, that I fell into a trance,and I saw Him saying to me,‘ Hurry and get out of Jerusalem quickly, because they will not accept your testimony about Me.’And I said,‘ Lord, they themselves understand that in one synagogue after another I used to imprison and beat those who believed in You.And when the blood of Your witness Stephen was being shed, I also was standing nearby and approving, and watching over the cloaks of those who were killing him.’And He said to me,‘ Go! For I will send you far away to the Gentiles.’ ”

that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;

Now may the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, that is, Jesus our Lord,

But get up and stand on your feet; for this purpose I have appeared to you, to appoint you as a servant and a witness not only to the things in which you have seen Me, but also to the things in which I will appear to you,rescuing you from the Jewish people and from the Gentiles, to whom I am sending you,to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.’

To me, the very least of all saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ,

according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, with which I have been entrusted.I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, because He considered me faithful, putting me into service,even though I was previously a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent aggressor. Yet I was shown mercy because I acted ignorantly in unbelief;and the grace of our Lord was more than abundant, with the faith and love which are found in Christ Jesus.

And I said,‘ What shall I do, Lord?’ And the Lord said to me,‘ Get up and go on into Damascus, and there you will be told about everything that has been appointed for you to do.’

but get up and enter the city, and it will be told to you what you must do.”

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, according to the promise of life in Christ Jesus,

and what is the boundless greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His mightwhich He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,

“ And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write: The first and the last, who was dead, and has come to life, says this:

who was declared the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness by the resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord,through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith among all the Gentiles in behalf of His name,

but for our sake also, to whom it will be credited, to us who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead,He who was delivered over because of our wrongdoings, and was raised because of our justification.

Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them,“ Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in the same way.

I and the Father are one.”

and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.

So Jesus said to them again,“ Peace be to you; just as the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”

And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying,“ All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

who through Him are believers in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

While they were serving the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said,“ Set Barnabas and Saul apart for Me for the work to which I have called them.”Then, when they had fasted, prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.So, being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia and from there they sailed to Cyprus.

For to this end Christ died and lived again, that He might be Lord both of the dead and of the living.

nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went away to Arabia, and returned once more to Damascus.

Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, as some, letters of commendation to you or from you?You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all people,revealing yourselves, that you are a letter of Christ, delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

“ Brothers, the Scripture had to be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit foretold by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who became a guide to those who arrested Jesus.For he was counted among us and received his share in this ministry.”( Now this man acquired a field with the price of his wickedness, and falling headlong, he burst open in the middle and all his intestines gushed out.And it became known to all the residents of Jerusalem; as a result that field was called Hakeldama in their own language, that is, Field of Blood.)“ For it is written in the book of Psalms:‘ May his residence be made desolate, And may there be none living in it’; and,‘ May another take his office.’Therefore it is necessary that of the men who have accompanied us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us—beginning with the baptism of John until the day that He was taken up from us— one of these must become a witness with us of His resurrection.”So they put forward two men, Joseph called Barsabbas( who was also called Justus), and Matthias.And they prayed and said,“ You, Lord, who know the hearts of all people, show which one of these two You have chosento occupy this ministry and apostleship from which Judas turned aside to go to his own place.”And they drew lots for them, and the lot fell to Matthias; and he was added to the eleven apostles.

But God raised Him from the dead, putting an end to the agony of death, since it was impossible for Him to be held in its power.For David says of Him,‘ I saw the Lord continually before me, Because He is at my right hand, so that I will not be shaken.Therefore my heart was glad and my tongue was overjoyed; Moreover my flesh also will live in hope;For You will not abandon my soul to Hades, Nor will You allow Your Holy One to undergo decay.You have made known to me the ways of life; You will make me full of gladness with Your presence.’“ Brothers, I may confidently say to you regarding the patriarch David that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.So because he was a prophet and knew that God had sworn to him with an oath to seat one of his descendants on his throne,he looked ahead and spoke of the resurrection of the Christ, that He was neither abandoned to Hades, nor did His flesh suffer decay.It is this Jesus whom God raised up, a fact to which we are all witnesses.

but put to death the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, a fact to which we are witnesses.
