On the twelfth day of the first month we set out from the Ahava Canal to go to Jerusalem. The hand of our God was on us, and he protected us from enemies and bandits along the way.

On the 12th day of the first month we started out. We left the canal that flows toward Ahava. And we headed for Jerusalem. Our God helped us. He kept us safe from enemies and robbers along the way.

Then we departed from the river Ahava on the twelfth day of the first month, to go to Jerusalem. The hand of our God was on us, and he delivered us from the hand of the enemy and from ambushes by the way.

We broke camp at the Ahava Canal on April 19 and started off to Jerusalem. And the gracious hand of our God protected us and saved us from enemies and bandits along the way.

We set out from the Ahava River on the twelfth day of the first month to go to Jerusalem. We were strengthened by our God, and he kept us from the grasp of the enemy and from ambush along the way.

Then we journeyed from the river Ahava on the twelfth of the first month to go to Jerusalem; and the hand of our God was upon us, and He rescued us from the hand of the enemy and the ambushes by the road.

Then we departed from the river of Ahava on the twelfth day of the first month, to go to Jerusalem. And the hand of our God was upon us, and He delivered us from the hand of the enemy and from ambush along the road.

那时，我在亚哈瓦河边宣告禁食，为要在我们神面前克苦己心，求他使我们和妇人孩子，并一切所有的，都得平坦的道路。我求王拨步兵马兵帮助我们抵挡路上的仇敌，本以为羞耻；因我曾对王说：“我们神施恩的手必帮助一切寻求他的；但他的能力和忿怒必攻击一切离弃他的。”

你不要害怕，因为我与你同在；不要惊惶，因为我是你的神。我必坚固你，我必帮助你；我必用我公义的右手扶持你。“凡向你发怒的必都抱愧蒙羞；与你相争的必如无有，并要灭亡。与你争竞的，你要找他们也找不着；与你争战的必如无有，成为虚无。因为我耶和华你的神必搀扶你的右手，对你说：不要害怕！我必帮助你。“你这虫雅各和你们以色列人，不要害怕！耶和华说：我必帮助你。你的救赎主就是以色列的圣者。

然而我蒙神的帮助，直到今日还站得住，对着尊贵、卑贱、老幼作见证；所讲的并不外乎众先知和摩西所说将来必成的事，

你六次遭难，他必救你；就是七次，灾祸也无法害你。在饥荒中，他必救你脱离死亡；在争战中，他必救你脱离刀剑的权力。你必被隐藏，不受口舌之害；灾殃临到，你也不惧怕。你遇见灾害饥馑，就必嬉笑；地上的野兽，你也不惧怕。因为你必与田间的石头立约；田里的野兽也必与你和好。你必知道你帐棚平安，要查看你的羊圈，一无所失；

耶和华是我的避难所；你已将至高者当你的居所，祸患必不临到你，灾害也不挨近你的帐棚。因他要为你吩咐他的使者，在你行的一切道路上保护你。他们要用手托着你，免得你的脚碰在石头上。你要踹在狮子和虺蛇的身上，践踏少壮狮子和大蛇。神说：“因为他专心爱我，我就要搭救他；因为他知道我的名，我要把他安置在高处。

又央告他，求他的情，将保罗提到耶路撒冷来，他们要在路上埋伏杀害他。

又在王和谋士，并大能的军长面前施恩于我。因耶和华我神的手帮助我，我就得以坚强，从以色列中招聚首领，与我一同上来。”
