以斯拉曰、當頌美主我列祖之天主、因感格王心、增榮耀於耶路撒冷之主殿、

以斯拉说：“耶和华我们列祖的神是应当称颂的！因他使王起这心意修饰耶路撒冷耶和华的殿，

以斯拉说：“我们祖先的上帝耶和华当受赞美！因为祂使王有这样的心意尊崇耶路撒冷耶和华的殿。

以斯拉说：“耶和华我们列祖的神是应该称颂的，因为他把这样的意念放在君王的心里，使他修饰那在耶路撒冷的耶和华的殿；

永恆主我們列祖的上帝是當受祝頌的，因為他將這樣的意思放在王的心意中，使他去修飾那在耶路撒冷的永恆主之殿；

我列祖之上帝耶和華、宜頌美焉、彼置此意於王心、修飾耶和華室、在耶路撒冷、

以士喇曰、當頌讚列祖之上帝耶和華、感動王心、修葺耶路撒冷之殿、

Praise be to the Lord, the God of our ancestors, who has put it into the king’s heart to bring honor to the house of the Lord in Jerusalem in this way

So here is what I, Ezra, say to you people of Israel.“ Give praise to the Lord. He is the God of our people who lived long ago. He has put it in the king’s heart to bring honor to the Lord’ s temple in Jerusalem. The king has honored the Lord in his letter.

Blessed be the Lord, the God of our fathers, who put such a thing as this into the heart of the king, to beautify the house of the Lord that is in Jerusalem,

Praise the Lord, the God of our ancestors, who made the king want to beautify the Temple of the Lord in Jerusalem!

Blessed be the LORD, the God of our ancestors, who has put it into the king’s mind to glorify the house of the LORD in Jerusalem,

Blessed be the Lord, the God of our fathers, who has put such a thing as this in the king’s heart, to glorify the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem,

Blessed be the Lord God of our fathers, who has put such a thing as this in the king’s heart, to beautify the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem,

Blessed be Jehovah, the God of our fathers, who hath put such a thing as this in the king’s heart, to beautify the house of Jehovah which is in Jerusalem;

Praise Yahweh the God of our fathers, who has put it into the king’s mind to glorify the house of the Lord in Jerusalem,

Blessed[ be] the LORD God of our fathers, which hath put[ such a thing] as this in the king’s heart, to beautify the house of the LORD which[ is] in Jerusalem:

Blessed be the LORD God of our fathers, who so moved in the heart of the king to so honor the temple of the LORD which is in Jerusalem!

Blessed be Yahweh, the God of our fathers, who has put such a thing as this in the king’s heart, to beautify Yahweh’s house which is in Jerusalem;

歡然喜樂、守除酵節七日、蓋主使之喜樂、又感亞述王之心、眷顧之、輔助之、建主以色列天主之殿、

亦求降詔於司王山林之臣亞薩、命之賜我材木、用以作圍殿城之門之柝梁、建城垣、與我所欲居之室、我蒙我天主之祐、王允我所求、

凡美善之恩施、全備之賞賚、皆自上出、由光明之父而降、彼永無變易、無遷移之影、

我謝天主、因感提多之心、使其為爾曹如是殷勤、

王之心志、在主掌握、隨意引之、如溝洫之水然、

我因主甚樂、因爾念我之意復萌、爾素念我、但無機可乘、

主又曰、此日之後、我與以色列家所立之約、即將以我之律法、置於其衷、銘於其心、我將為彼之天主、彼將為我之民、

蓋天主感彼眾之心、以成厥旨、使彼眾同心、將己之國給獸、以待天主之言應焉、

主曰此日後、我將以我律法、置於其衷、銘於其心、此乃我與彼所立之約、

大衛在會眾前頌禱主曰、主我祖以色列之天主歟、當頌美永世無盡、主大無倫、能力、尊榮、盛德、威嚴、悉屬主、凡在天地者、咸歸主、國權歸主、主巍巍乎萬有之上、富與貴由主而來、主治萬物、主有巨能大力、人之昌大強盛、皆主所使、我天主歟、今我儕稱謝主頌揚主之榮名、我為誰、我民為誰、乃能如此樂輸而獻於主乎、萬物由主而來、所獻於主者、悉由主而得、我儕在主前如客旅寄居、無異列祖、我在世之日如影、難冀常存、主我天主歟、我儕欲為主之聖名建殿、備此多材、悉由主而來、悉屬於主、我天主鑒察人心、喜悅誠實、為我所知、我誠心樂輸此諸物、我見主之民在此亦樂意捐輸、則甚欣喜、求主我列祖亞伯拉罕以撒以色列之天主、使主之民常存如此之心意、使之恆心歸向主、又求主賜我子所羅門以誠心、守主之誡命、法度、律例、成就諸事、以我所備之材、建造斯殿、大衛告會眾曰、當頌讚主爾之天主、會眾遂頌讚主其列祖之天主、伏拜主與王、明日獻平安祭與火焚祭於主、即牡犢一千、牡羊一千、羔羊一千、並循所獻之犧牲奠酒、又為以色列人別獻多祭、眾於是日、皆大喜樂、式食式飲於主前、以大衛子所羅門再立為王、膏之於主前為君、又膏撒督為大祭司、於是所羅門坐於主賜之位、繼父大衛為王、主使之亨通、以色列人眾聽從其命、諸候伯與勇士、及大衛王眾子、皆服所羅門王、主使所羅門於以色列人前最尊大、使其國大為顯榮、超越其前之以色列諸王、○耶西子大衛為以色列通國之王、為以色列王歷四十年、在希伯崙為王七年、在耶路撒冷為王三十三年、壽高年邁、安富尊榮而逝、子所羅門繼其位、大衛王始終之事、載於先見撒母耳之書、先知拿單之書、及先見迦得之書、其國事、其能力、以及以色列與四方列國所經歷之事、俱載於此書、

天主使我有重建耶路撒冷之志、此時我未嘗告人、夜起、乘畜而出、偕我有數人、我所乘之畜外、無他畜、

利巴嫩之佳木、如柏木杉木黃楊、運至爾中、以飾我聖所之地、我必榮我駐蹕駐蹕或作置足之處、

我天主感我、我聚諸顯者、民長、庶民、稽其譜系、我得初歸者之譜系、上載曰、
