And whatsoever more shall be needful for the house of thy God, which thou shalt have occasion to bestow, bestow it out of the king’s treasure- house.

申命收河西餉稅、於其中取金、予猶大族長老、使建上帝殿、俾興作無所窒礙。彼宜用犢、牡綿羊、綿羊羔、為燔祭、奉事天上上帝、亦用麥鹽油酒、應耶路撒冷祭司所求、爾必供給、日恆不絕。俾得獻祭、奉事天上上帝、取其馨香、為王及王子祈禱。我頒詔天下、如違我命、則取其室之梁木立之、懸其人於上、以其室為厠。昔上帝簡是殿、為籲厥名之所、或君或民、欲廢斯命、毀耶路撒冷之殿、願上帝加以翦滅、我降是詔、速行勿緩。於是河西牧伯達乃、示達薄乃、爰及同儕、遵大利烏王所命、弗敢濡滯。猶大長老、聽先知哈基、易多孫撒加利亞、感神之言、遂建殿宇、無不亨通、遵以色列族上帝、及巴西王古列、大利烏、亞達泄西之命、迨竣厥工。大利烏王六年、亞達月、三日、殿宇告成。以色列族、祭司、利未人、被虜而歸者、歡然欣喜、告成厥殿。獻犢一百、牡綿羊二百、綿羊羔四百、為落成獻祭、以色列支派十二、故獻牡山羊、亦如其數、為眾贖罪。俾祭司利未人、循其班列、在耶路撒冷、奉事上帝、遵摩西之書所載。
