therefore thou shalt with all diligence buy with this money bullocks, rams, lambs, with their meal- offerings and their drink- offerings, and shalt offer them upon the altar of the house of your God which is in Jerusalem.

With this money be sure to buy bulls, rams and male lambs, together with their grain offerings and drink offerings, and sacrifice them on the altar of the temple of your God in Jerusalem.

But unto the place which Jehovah your God shall choose out of all your tribes, to put his name there, even unto his habitation shall ye seek, and thither thou shalt come;and thither ye shall bring your burnt- offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and the heave- offering of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill- offerings, and the firstlings of your herd and of your flock:and there ye shall eat before Jehovah your God, and ye shall rejoice in all that ye put your hand unto, ye and your households, wherein Jehovah thy God hath blessed thee.Ye shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes;for ye are not as yet come to the rest and to the inheritance, which Jehovah thy God giveth thee.But when ye go over the Jordan, and dwell in the land which Jehovah your God causeth you to inherit, and he giveth you rest from all your enemies round about, so that ye dwell in safety;then it shall come to pass that to the place which Jehovah your God shall choose, to cause his name to dwell there, thither shall ye bring all that I command you: your burnt- offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave- offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto Jehovah.

then shall he that offereth his oblation offer unto Jehovah a meal- offering of a tenth part of an ephah of fine flour mingled with the fourth part of a hin of oil:and wine for the drink- offering, the fourth part of a hin, shalt thou prepare with the burnt- offering, or for the sacrifice, for each lamb.Or for a ram, thou shalt prepare for a meal- offering two tenth parts of an ephah of fine flour mingled with the third part of a hin of oil:and for the drink- offering thou shalt offer the third part of a hin of wine, of a sweet savor unto Jehovah.And when thou preparest a bullock for a burnt- offering, or for a sacrifice, to accomplish a vow, or for peace- offerings unto Jehovah;then shall he offer with the bullock a meal- offering of three tenth parts of an ephah of fine flour mingled with half a hin of oil:and thou shalt offer for the drink- offering half a hin of wine, for an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor unto Jehovah.Thus shall it be done for each bullock, or for each ram, or for each of the he- lambs, or of the kids.According to the number that ye shall prepare, so shall ye do to every one according to their number.All that are home- born shall do these things after this manner, in offering an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor unto Jehovah.

And Jesus entered into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money- changers, and the seats of them that sold the doves;and he saith unto them, It is written, My house shall be called a house of prayer: but ye make it a den of robbers.

And that which they have need of, both young bullocks, and rams, and lambs, for burnt- offerings to the God of heaven; also wheat, salt, wine, and oil, according to the word of the priests that are at Jerusalem, let it be given them day by day without fail;that they may offer sacrifices of sweet savor unto the God of heaven, and pray for the life of the king, and of his sons.

And he found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:

And if the way be too long for thee, so that thou art not able to carry it, because the place is too far from thee, which Jehovah thy God shall choose, to set his name there, when Jehovah thy God shall bless thee;then shalt thou turn it into money, and bind up the money in thy hand, and shalt go unto the place which Jehovah thy God shall choose:and thou shalt bestow the money for whatsoever thy soul desireth, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul asketh of thee; and thou shalt eat there before Jehovah thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou and thy household.
