上載古列王元年、降詔、詔曰、咨爾有眾、可於耶路撒冷建殿、奉事上帝、獻祭之所、宜基深址固、所建室高廣各六丈。

In the first year of King Cyrus, the king issued a decree concerning the temple of God in Jerusalem: Let the temple be rebuilt as a place to present sacrifices, and let its foundations be laid. It is to be sixty cubits high and sixty cubits wide,

In the first year that Cyrus was king, he gave an order. It concerned God’s temple in Jerusalem. King Cyrus said, Rebuild the temple. Then the Jews can offer sacrifices there. Lay its foundations. The temple must be 90 feet high and 90 feet wide.

In the first year of Cyrus the king, Cyrus the king issued a decree: Concerning the house of God at Jerusalem, let the house be rebuilt, the place where sacrifices were offered, and let its foundations be retained. Its height shall be sixty cubits and its breadth sixty cubits,

“ In the first year of King Cyrus’s reign, a decree was sent out concerning the Temple of God at Jerusalem.“ Let the Temple be rebuilt on the site where Jews used to offer their sacrifices, using the original foundations. Its height will be ninety feet, and its width will be ninety feet.

波斯王塞魯士元年，耶和華為要應驗藉耶利米口所說的話，就激動波斯王塞魯士的心，使他下詔通告全國，說：「波斯王塞魯士如此說：耶和華－天上的神已將天下萬國賜給我，又囑咐我在猶大的耶路撒冷為他建造殿宇。你們中間凡作他子民的，可以上去，願耶和華－他的神與他同在。」波斯王塞魯士元年，耶和華為要應驗藉耶利米口所說的話，就激動波斯王塞魯士的心，使他下詔通告全國說：「波斯王塞魯士如此說：『耶和華天上的神已將天下萬國賜給我，又囑咐我在猶大的耶路撒冷為他建造殿宇。在你們中間凡作他子民的，可以上猶大的耶路撒冷，在耶路撒冷重建耶和華－以色列神的殿（只有他是神）。願神與這人同在。凡剩下的人，無論寄居何處，那地的人要用金銀、財物、牲畜幫助他，另外也要為耶路撒冷神的殿甘心獻上禮物。』」

城是四方的，長寬一樣。天使用葦子量那城，共有四千里，長、寬、高都是一樣；

那時要將我所吩咐你們的燔祭、平安祭、十分取一之物，和手中的舉祭，並向耶和華許願獻的一切美祭，都奉到耶和華－你們神所選擇要立為他名的居所。你們和兒女、僕婢，並住在你們城裏無分無業的利未人，都要在耶和華－你們的神面前歡樂。你要謹慎，不可在你所看中的各處獻燔祭。惟獨耶和華從你那一支派中所選擇的地方，你就要在那裏獻燔祭，行我一切所吩咐你的。

但耶和華－你們的神從你們各支派中選擇何處為立他名的居所，你們就當往那裏去求問，將你們的燔祭、平安祭、十分取一之物，和手中的舉祭，並還願祭、甘心祭，以及牛羣羊羣中頭生的，都奉到那裏。

天和天上的天，尚且不足他居住的，誰能為他建造殿宇呢？我是誰？能為他建造殿宇嗎？不過在他面前燒香而已。

然而巴比倫王塞魯士元年，他降旨允准建造神的這殿。神殿中的金、銀器皿，就是尼布甲尼撒從耶路撒冷的殿中掠去帶到巴比倫廟裏的，塞魯士王從巴比倫廟裏取出來，交給派為省長的，名叫設巴薩，對他說可以將這些器皿帶去，放在耶路撒冷的殿中，在原處建造神的殿。

所羅門王為耶和華所建的殿，長六十肘，寬二十肘，高三十肘。殿前的廊子長二十肘，與殿的寬窄一樣，闊十肘；

這樣，他量殿，長一百肘，又量空地和那房子並牆，共長一百肘。殿的前面和兩旁的空地，寬一百肘。他量空地後面的那房子，並兩旁的樓廊，共長一百肘。

所羅門建築神殿的根基，乃是這樣：長六十肘，寬二十肘，都按着古時的尺寸。殿前的廊子長二十肘，與殿的寬窄一樣，高一百二十肘；裏面貼上精金。

眾支派，就是耶和華的支派，上那裏去，按以色列的常例稱讚耶和華的名。
