In the first year of King Cyrus, the king issued a decree concerning the temple of God in Jerusalem: Let the temple be rebuilt as a place to present sacrifices, and let its foundations be laid. It is to be sixty cubits high and sixty cubits wide,

In the first year that Cyrus was king, he gave an order. It concerned God’s temple in Jerusalem. King Cyrus said, Rebuild the temple. Then the Jews can offer sacrifices there. Lay its foundations. The temple must be 90 feet high and 90 feet wide.

城是四方的，长宽都一样。天使用芦苇量那城，共有二千四百公里（“二千四百公里”原文作“一万二千司他町”），城的长、宽、高都一样；

那时，你要把我吩咐你们的燔祭和其他的祭物、十分之一的礼物和手中的贡献，以及你们向耶和华许愿要献的最美的一切还愿祭，都要带到耶和华你们的神选择作为立他名的地方。你们和你们的儿女、仆婢，以及住在你们城里的利未人，都要在耶和华你们的神面前欢乐，因为利未人在你们中间无分无业。你要自己谨慎，不可在你看见的任何地方献上你的燔祭；只要在耶和华从你的一个支派中拣选的地方，在那里献上你的燔祭，在那里行我吩咐你的一切事。

耶和华你们的神从你们各支派中，选择了什么地方作立他名的居所，你们就当到那里求问他；把你们的燔祭和其他的祭物、十分之一的礼物和手中的贡献、还愿祭和甘心祭，以及牛群羊群中头生的，都要带到那里去；

但谁能为他建造殿宇呢？天和天上的天也容不下他；我是谁，怎能为他建造殿宇？我不过在他面前烧香罢了。

然而在巴比伦王古列元年，古列王下令重建这神的殿。至于从前尼布甲尼撒从耶路撒冷的殿里掠夺，带到巴比伦庙里的神殿中的金银器皿，古列王也从巴比伦的庙中拿出来，把它们交给一位名叫设巴萨的人，委任他为总督。又吩咐他说：把这些器皿带去，存放在耶路撒冷的殿中；使神的殿在原来的地方重建起来。

所罗门为耶和华所建的殿，长二十七公尺，宽九公尺，高十三公尺半。殿的前廊长九公尺，和殿的宽度一样，宽四公尺半。

他量了圣殿，长五十公尺；又量了殿院的空地，那屋子和它的墙，共长五十公尺。在东面，圣殿前面的空地，宽五十公尺。他量了殿院空地后面的屋子，连同屋子两边的走廊，共长五十公尺。外殿、内殿、朝向内院的门廊、

所罗门建造神殿宇的根基是这样：按古时的尺寸，长二十七公尺，宽九公尺。殿前走廊长九公尺，与殿的宽度相等；高九公尺（“高九公尺”原文作“高一百二十”；现参照古译本修译）；里面贴上纯金。

众支派，就是耶和华的支派，都上那里去；照着以色列的定例，称颂耶和华的名。
