上載古列王元年、降詔、詔曰、咨爾有眾、可於耶路撒冷建殿、奉事上帝、獻祭之所、宜基深址固、所建室高廣各六丈。

In the first year of King Cyrus, the king issued a decree concerning the temple of God in Jerusalem: Let the temple be rebuilt as a place to present sacrifices, and let its foundations be laid. It is to be sixty cubits high and sixty cubits wide,

In the first year that Cyrus was king, he gave an order. It concerned God’s temple in Jerusalem. King Cyrus said, Rebuild the temple. Then the Jews can offer sacrifices there. Lay its foundations. The temple must be 90 feet high and 90 feet wide.

And the city lieth foursquare, and the length thereof is as great as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs: the length and the breadth and the height thereof are equal.

then it shall come to pass that to the place which Jehovah your God shall choose, to cause his name to dwell there, thither shall ye bring all that I command you: your burnt- offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave- offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto Jehovah.And ye shall rejoice before Jehovah your God, ye, and your sons, and your daughters, and your men- servants, and your maid- servants, and the Levite that is within your gates, forasmuch as he hath no portion nor inheritance with you.Take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt- offerings in every place that thou seest;but in the place which Jehovah shall choose in one of thy tribes, there thou shalt offer thy burnt- offerings, and there thou shalt do all that I command thee.

But unto the place which Jehovah your God shall choose out of all your tribes, to put his name there, even unto his habitation shall ye seek, and thither thou shalt come;and thither ye shall bring your burnt- offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and the heave- offering of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill- offerings, and the firstlings of your herd and of your flock:

But who is able to build him a house, seeing heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him a house, save only to burn incense before him?

But in the first year of Cyrus king of Babylon, Cyrus the king made a decree to build this house of God.And the gold and silver vessels also of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took out of the temple that was in Jerusalem, and brought into the temple of Babylon, those did Cyrus the king take out of the temple of Babylon, and they were delivered unto one whose name was Sheshbazzar, whom he had made governor;and he said unto him, Take these vessels, go, put them in the temple that is in Jerusalem, and let the house of God be builded in its place.

And the house which king Solomon built for Jehovah, the length thereof was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits, and the height thereof thirty cubits.And the porch before the temple of the house, twenty cubits was the length thereof according to the breadth of the house; and ten cubits was the breadth thereof before the house.

So he measured the house, a hundred cubits long; and the separate place, and the building, with the walls thereof, a hundred cubits long;also the breadth of the face of the house, and of the separate place toward the east, a hundred cubits.And he measured the length of the building before the separate place which was at the back thereof, and the galleries thereof on the one side and on the other side, a hundred cubits; and the inner temple, and the porches of the court;

Now these are the foundations which Solomon laid for the building of the house of God. The length by cubits after the first measure was threescore cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.And the porch that was before the house, the length of it, according to the breadth of the house, was twenty cubits, and the height a hundred and twenty; and he overlaid it within with pure gold.

Whither the tribes go up, even the tribes of Jehovah, For an ordinance for Israel, To give thanks unto the name of Jehovah.
