For seven days they celebrated with joy the Festival of Unleavened Bread, because the Lord had filled them with joy by changing the attitude of the king of Assyria so that he assisted them in the work on the house of God, the God of Israel.

For seven days they celebrated the Feast of Unleavened Bread with joy. That’s because the Lord had filled them with joy. They were glad because he had changed the mind of the king of Persia. So the king had helped them with the work on the house of the God of Israel.

And they kept the Feast of Unleavened Bread seven days with joy, for the Lord had made them joyful and had turned the heart of the king of Assyria to them, so that he aided them in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.

Then they celebrated the Festival of Unleavened Bread for seven days. There was great joy throughout the land because the Lord had caused the king of Assyria to be favorable to them, so that he helped them to rebuild the Temple of God, the God of Israel.

They observed the Festival of Unleavened Bread for seven days with joy, because the LORD had made them joyful, having changed the Assyrian king’s attitude toward them, so that he supported them in the work on the house of the God of Israel.

巴西王古列元年、主欲應耶利米所傳主之言、感巴西王古列之心、宣告遍國、並降詔曰、

王之心志、在主掌握、隨意引之、如溝洫之水然、

故當除盡舊酵、俾成新團、因爾曹乃如無酵之餅、蓋我儕亦有逾越節羔、為我儕見宰者、即基督也、是以當守我節、不以舊酵、不以暴很惡毒之酵、乃以真正誠實之無酵、

在耶路撒冷之以色列人、守除酵節七日、欣喜不勝、利未人及祭司、操大聲之樂器、日日頌美主、

是時、在耶路撒冷所有之以色列人、守逾越節、又守無酵節、歷七日、

今爾河西方伯達乃、示他波斯乃、與爾同僚居河西之亞法薩迦人等、當遠離其人、彼建天主殿勿阻之、可許猶大方伯、及猶大長老、建天主斯殿於原處、復諭爾所當行於猶大長老、使其能建天主殿、當由河西餉稅中、取銀予之、以為經費、免其工作遲滯、所需牛犢、牡綿羊、綿羊之羔、為獻火焚祭於天上之天主、及所需麥、鹽、酒、油、當循耶路撒冷祭司所求、日給不絕、俾得獻馨香之祭於天上天主、為王及王子之壽命祈禱、復諭、如有人易此詔、則拆其室之梁、立而懸其人於上、是其室因此為厠、昔天主使其名在耶路撒冷之殿、若有王或民、欲易斯詔、毀斯殿、願天主殲滅之、我大利烏降斯諭、當速行勿緩、○

七日間當食無酵餅、第七日、當於主前守節期、七日當食無酵餅、在爾四境內、不可有酵與發酵之物、

七日間當食無酵餅、首日必除有酵之物於爾室、自首日至七日、凡食有酵之物、其人必見絕於以色列、首日當有聖會、第七日亦當有聖會、此二日、除備各人所食外、不得作他工、爾曹當守無酵節、蓋是日我率爾眾出伊及國、故爾曹當歷代守是日、永為定例、自正月十四日之夕、至二十一日之夕、當食無酵餅、七日間、勿存酵於爾家、無論外邦客旅土著、凡食有酵之物者、必滅絕於以色列之會、有酵之物皆不可食、無論居於何處、皆當食無酵餅、○

我必使之歸自伊及地、集之出自亞述、使至基列地與利巴嫩、其地猶小、不足以居、主使民由苦海而過、或作主使民辛苦過海主必擊海之波濤、使河河即伊及之尼羅河之一切深處盡涸、亞述驕傲必降、伊及權勢必除、

除酵節之首日、門徒就耶穌曰、爾欲我於何處為爾備逾越節筵、

人之道途若蒙主悅、主則使其仇敵亦與之和、

耶穌曰、非自上賜爾、則爾無權治我、故解我於爾者、其罪更大、

當約西亞之時、伊及王法老尼哥、往伯拉河以攻亞述王、約西亞往禦之、至米吉多、伊及王見之、為其所殺、
