就是你藉你仆人众先知所吩咐的说：‘你们要去得为业之地是污秽之地；因列国之民的污秽和可憎的事，叫全地从这边直到那边满了污秽。

以色列人就与一切外邦人离绝，站着承认自己的罪恶和列祖的罪孽。

我必用清水洒在你们身上，你们就洁净了。我要洁净你们，使你们脱离一切的污秽，弃掉一切的偶像。

其余的民、祭司、利未人、守门的、歌唱的、尼提宁，和一切离绝邻邦居民归服神律法的，并他们的妻子、儿女，凡有知识能明白的，

耶和华啊，你的法度最的确；你的殿永称为圣，是合宜的。

有几个人因死尸而不洁净，不能在那日守逾越节。当日他们到摩西、亚伦面前，说：“我们虽因死尸而不洁净，为何被阻止、不得同以色列人在所定的日期献耶和华的供物呢？”

又说：“你们务要从他们中间出来，与他们分别；不要沾不洁净的物，我就收纳你们。

以色列全会众都要守这礼。若有外人寄居在你们中间，愿向耶和华守逾越节，他所有的男子务要受割礼，然后才容他前来遵守，他也就像本地人一样；但未受割礼的，都不可吃这羊羔。本地人和寄居在你们中间的外人同归一例。”

这事做完了，众首领来见我，说：“以色列民和祭司并利未人，没有离绝迦南人、赫人、比利洗人、耶布斯人、亚扪人、摩押人、埃及人、亚摩利人，仍效法这些国的民，行可憎的事。

亲爱的弟兄啊，我们既有这等应许，就当洁净自己，除去身体、灵魂一切的污秽，敬畏神，得以成圣。

你们离开吧！离开吧！从巴比伦出来。不要沾不洁净的物；要从其中出来。你们扛抬耶和华器皿的人哪，务要自洁。

“你晓谕以色列人说：你们和你们后代中，若有人因死尸而不洁净，或在远方行路，还要向耶和华守逾越节。他们要在二月十四日黄昏的时候，守逾越节。要用无酵饼与苦菜，和逾越节的羊羔同吃。一点不可留到早晨；羊羔的骨头一根也不可折断。他们要照逾越节的一切律例而守。那洁净而不行路的人若推辞不守逾越节，那人要从民中剪除；因为他在所定的日期不献耶和华的供物，应该担当他的罪。若有外人寄居在你们中间，愿意向耶和华守逾越节，他要照逾越节的律例典章行，不管是寄居的是本地人，同归一例。”
