May God, who has caused his Name to dwell there, overthrow any king or people who lifts a hand to change this decree or to destroy this temple in Jerusalem. I Darius have decreed it. Let it be carried out with diligence.

God has chosen to put his Name in the temple at Jerusalem. May he wipe out any king or nation that lifts a hand to change this order. May he also wipe out anyone who tries to destroy the temple in Jerusalem. That’s what I have ordered. I am King Darius. Make sure you carry out my order.

May the God who has caused his name to dwell there overthrow any king or people who shall put out a hand to alter this, or to destroy this house of God that is in Jerusalem. I Darius make a decree; let it be done with all diligence.”

May the God who has chosen the city of Jerusalem as the place to honor his name destroy any king or nation that violates this command and destroys this Temple.“ I, Darius, have issued this decree. Let it be obeyed with all diligence.”

May the God who caused his name to dwell there overthrow any king or people who dares to harm or interfere with this house of God in Jerusalem. I, Darius, have issued the decree. Let it be carried out diligently.

May the God who has caused His name to dwell there overthrow any king or people who attempts to change it, so as to destroy that house of God in Jerusalem. I, Darius, have issued this decree; it is to be carried out with all diligence!”

And may the God who causes His name to dwell there destroy any king or people who put their hand to alter it, or to destroy this house of God which is in Jerusalem. I Darius issue a decree; let it be done diligently.

因為耶和華選擇了錫安，選定她作自己居住的地方：「這是我永遠的安息之所；我要住在這裡，因為我選定了錫安。

「看哪，我必使耶路撒冷成為一只酒杯，讓四圍所有的民族都醉得搖搖晃晃！耶路撒冷被圍困的時候，猶大也將被圍困。到那日，我必使耶路撒冷成為萬民的一塊沉重石頭，凡背負它的都必受重傷；地上萬國都將聚集起來攻擊它。」耶和華宣告：「到那日，我必擊打所有的馬匹，使牠們恐慌，擊打騎馬的人，使他們瘋狂；我必睜眼看顧猶大家，擊打萬民所有的馬匹，使牠們瞎眼。

騎御用快馬的信使們被王令催促就急忙出發，而這法令也在蘇薩城堡頒布了。

你的手找出你一切的仇敵，你的右手找出那些恨你的人。當你出現的時候，你要使他們如同燃燒的火爐；耶和華必在他的怒氣中吞滅他們，他的烈火必把他們吞噬。你從地上消滅他們的後代，從世人中消滅他們的後裔。

天上的軍兵，都騎著白馬，身穿潔白乾淨的細麻衣，跟隨著他。從他口中發出一把利劍，好用它來擊打列國。他將用鐵杖治理列國，並且要踐踏酒榨，就是神、全能者烈怒的酒榨。在他的袍子上、大腿上寫著一個名號：「萬王之王，萬主之主。」隨後，我看見一位天使站在太陽中，對所有在空中飛翔的鳥大聲呼喊說：「來吧，聚集起來赴神的大宴席，為要吃君王的肉、軍官的肉、壯士的肉、馬和騎士的肉，以及各種人的肉，包括自由人和奴隸，卑微人和尊貴人的肉。」接著，我看見那獸和地上的眾君王以及他們的軍兵聚集在一起，要與騎白馬的那一位和他的軍隊作戰。但那獸被抓了；那假先知也與牠一起被抓了——他在獸面前行了許多奇蹟，藉此迷惑那些接受獸的印記並膜拜獸像的人。獸和那假先知兩個都活生生地被丟進燃燒著硫磺的火湖裡。其餘的人，也都被騎白馬那一位口中所發出的劍殺死了。所有的鳥都吃飽了他們的肉。

現在我告訴你們：不要管這些人，由他們去吧！因為這計劃或這行為，如果是出於人，就會被拆毀；但如果是出於神，你們就不能拆毀他們，恐怕你們反而被看做是與神作對了。」於是議會的人被迦瑪列說服了，

他問：「主啊，你到底是誰？」主說：「我就是你所逼迫的耶穌。
