May God, who has caused his Name to dwell there, overthrow any king or people who lifts a hand to change this decree or to destroy this temple in Jerusalem. I Darius have decreed it. Let it be carried out with diligence.

God has chosen to put his Name in the temple at Jerusalem. May he wipe out any king or nation that lifts a hand to change this order. May he also wipe out anyone who tries to destroy the temple in Jerusalem. That’s what I have ordered. I am King Darius. Make sure you carry out my order.

May the God who has caused his name to dwell there overthrow any king or people who shall put out a hand to alter this, or to destroy this house of God that is in Jerusalem. I Darius make a decree; let it be done with all diligence.”

May the God who has chosen the city of Jerusalem as the place to honor his name destroy any king or nation that violates this command and destroys this Temple.“ I, Darius, have issued this decree. Let it be obeyed with all diligence.”

May the God who caused his name to dwell there overthrow any king or people who dares to harm or interfere with this house of God in Jerusalem. I, Darius, have issued the decree. Let it be carried out diligently.

May the God who has caused His name to dwell there overthrow any king or people who attempts to change it, so as to destroy that house of God in Jerusalem. I, Darius, have issued this decree; it is to be carried out with all diligence!”

And may the God who causes His name to dwell there destroy any king or people who put their hand to alter it, or to destroy this house of God which is in Jerusalem. I Darius issue a decree; let it be done diligently.

耶和華對他說：“你在我面前所作的禱告和懇求，我都已經聽見了。你建造的這殿，我已經把它分別為聖，要使我的名永遠留在那裡；我的眼和我的心也必常在那裡。

耶和華你們的神從你們各支派中，選擇了甚麼地方作立他名的居所，你們就當到那裡求問他；

那時，你要把我吩咐你們的燔祭和其他的祭物、十分之一的禮物和手中的貢獻，以及你們向耶和華許願要獻的最美的一切還願祭，都要帶到耶和華你們的神選擇作為立他名的地方。

你要為我築一座土壇，把你的燔祭、平安祭和牛羊獻在壇上；在我使人記念我名的地方，我都必到你那裡去賜福你。

將要被毀滅的（“將要被毀滅的”有古譯本作“毀滅者”）巴比倫城（“城”原文作“女子”）啊！照著你待我們的行為報復你的，那人有福了。抓住你的嬰孩摔在磐石上的，那人有福了。

你要在耶和華選擇立為他名的居所的地方，把羊和牛作逾越節的祭牲獻給耶和華你的神。

不事奉你的邦或國，都必滅亡；那些邦國必全然荒廢。

凡是你手可作的，都當盡力去作；因為在你所要去的陰間裡，既沒有工作，又沒有籌謀；沒有知識，也沒有智慧。

神啊！求你定他們的罪；願他們因自己的詭計跌倒，願你因他們許多的過犯，把他們趕出去，因為他們背叛了你。

諭文抄本頒行各省，通告各族，使他們準備好這一天。驛使奉王命急忙出發，御旨從書珊城頒布出去。那時王與哈曼又同坐共飲，書珊城的居民卻非常慌亂。

因為耶和華揀選了錫安，定意把它當作自己的居所。他說：“這是我永遠安息的居所；我要住在這裡，因為我定意這樣作。

現在我揀選了這殿，把它分別為聖，使我的名永遠在這殿中；我的眼和我的心也常常留在那裡。

因你對兄弟雅各行強暴，你必受羞辱，永被剪除。

“看哪！我要使耶路撒冷成為令周圍萬族喝醉的杯；耶路撒冷被圍困的時候，猶大也必受到攻擊。到那日，我要使耶路撒冷對萬族來說像一塊沉重的石頭，舉起它的必受重傷；地上的列國必聚集起來攻擊耶路撒冷。到那日（這是耶和華的宣告），我要擊打所有的馬匹，使牠們驚恐，擊打騎馬的人，使他們瘋狂；我必開眼看顧猶大家，我要擊打萬族所有的馬匹，使牠們瞎眼。

於是，騎上為國事而用的快馬的驛使，迫於王命，就急急忙忙出發，諭旨傳遍書珊城。

你的手要搜出你所有的仇敵，你的右手必搜出那些恨你的人。你出現的時候，就要使他們像熾熱的火爐；耶和華必在他的震怒中吞滅他們，火必燒滅他們。你必從地上除滅他們的子孫，從人間除滅他們的後裔。

於是河西那邊的總督達乃、示他．波斯乃和他們的同僚，徹底遵照大利烏王的指示。

天上的眾軍，都騎著白馬，穿著潔白的細麻衣，跟隨著他。有一把利劍從他口中吐出來，他要用這劍擊打列國，他必用鐵杖治理他們；並且還要踹全能神烈怒的壓酒池。在他的衣服和大腿上，寫著“萬王之王，萬主之主”的名號。我又看見一位天使站在太陽中，向高空所有的飛鳥大聲呼喊說：“你們來吧！齊集起來赴神的大筵席！可以吃君王的肉、將領的肉、壯士的肉，馬和騎士的肉，以及自由的、作奴隸的、大的、小的，所有人的肉。”我看見那獸和地上的眾王，以及他們的眾軍，都集合起來，要跟那騎白馬的和他的眾軍作戰。那獸被捉住了；連同在獸面前用奇事迷惑人，使他們接受獸的記號，並且拜獸像的那假先知，也一起被捉住了。他們兩個就活活地被拋在燒著硫磺的火湖裡去。其餘的人都被那位騎白馬的口中所吐出來的劍殺了。所有飛鳥都吃飽了他們的肉。

至於目前的事，我勸你們不要管這些人，由他們吧！因為這計劃或這行動，如果是出於人意，終必失敗；如果是出於神，你們就不能破壞他們，恐怕你們是與神作對了。”他們接受了他的勸告，

他說：“主啊，你是誰？”主說：“我就是你所迫害的耶穌。
