好让他们可以献馨香的祭给天上的神，为王和王的子孙祈求长寿。

以下这些犹大省的人，从前巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒掳走他们，现在他们从被掳之地归回耶路撒冷和犹大，各人回到自己的城镇。

以色列人、祭司、利未人、作殿役的和所罗门仆人的子孙，各住在犹大众城自己的地业中；犹大省的首领住在耶路撒冷的，有以下这些人：

亚哈随鲁在位的时候，他统治从印度到古实共一百二十七省。

这些犹大省的人，从前被巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒掳到巴比伦去，现在他们从被掳之地回到耶路撒冷和犹大，各归自己的城镇。

于是尼布甲尼撒走近烈火的窑口，说：“至高神的仆人沙得拉、米煞和亚伯尼歌啊！你们出来，到这里来吧。”沙得拉、米煞和亚伯尼歌就从火中出来。

我乐意把至高的神向我所行的神迹奇事宣扬出来。

因为耶和华你们的神，他是万神之神、万主之主、伟大有力和可畏的神；他不徇情面，也不受贿赂。

“波斯王古列这样说：‘耶和华天上的神已经把地上万国赐给我。他指派我在犹大的耶路撒冷为他建造殿宇。你们中间凡是他的子民，愿神与他同在的，都可以上犹大的耶路撒冷去，建造耶和华以色列的神的殿，他是在耶路撒冷受敬拜的神。

天上的神命令的，就要为天上神的殿热心去作，免得忿怒临到王和王的子孙的国。

耶稣从殿里出来的时候，有一个门徒对他说：“老师，请看，这是多么美好的石头！多么美好的建筑！”耶稣对他说：“你看见这些伟大的建筑吗？将来必没有一块石头留在另一块石头上面，每一块都要拆下来。”

现在我下令，我所统治的全国人民都要在但以理的神面前战兢恐惧。“他是永活的神，他永远长存；他的国度永不灭亡，他的统治直到永远。

王对但以理说：“你们的神真是万神之神，万王之王，又是显明隐秘事的，因为你能把这隐秘的事显明出来。”

“七年的日子满了，我尼布甲尼撒举目望天，我的理智恢复过来，我就称颂至高者，赞美尊崇活到永远的神。他的统治永无穷尽，他的国度直到万代。地上所有的居民，在他来说都是虚无；在天上的万军中，他凭自己的意旨行事；在地上的居民中，也是这样；没有人能拦住他的手，或问他说：‘你作什么？’“那时，我的理智恢复过来后，为着我国的光荣，我的威严和光辉也都恢复过来了。我的谋臣和官员仍来求见我，我的王权重新坚立，我的权势越发增加。现在我尼布甲尼撒赞美、尊崇、荣耀天上的王，因为他所作的一切都正确，他所行的也都公平；行为骄傲的，他都能贬低。”

把诏书送到王的各省，每一省都用各省的文字，每一族都用各族的方言，使作丈夫的都在家中作主，说话有权威。

连我们的仇敌也自己断定，他们的磐石不像我们的磐石。

耶和华是至大的，配受极大的赞美，他的伟大无法测度。
