巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒從前把猶大省的人擄到巴比倫，這些人的子孫從流亡之地返回耶路撒冷和猶大後，各回本城。

於是，尼布甲尼撒走近火窯的門，喊道：「至高上帝的僕人沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌啊，出來吧，到這裡來吧。」沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌便從火中出來。

我樂意向你們述說至高的上帝對我所行的神蹟奇事。

你們的上帝耶和華是萬神之神、萬主之主，是偉大、全能、可畏的上帝。祂不徇情面，不受賄賂；

不論天上的上帝為祂的殿有何要求，都要認真辦理，以免祂的烈怒臨到王及眾王子的國。

耶穌走出聖殿的時候，有一個門徒對祂說：「老師，你看！這是多麼大的石頭，多麼宏偉的建築啊！」耶穌說：「你看見這宏偉的建築了嗎？將來它要被完全拆毀，找不到兩塊疊在一起的石頭。」

我下令，我統治的國民都要敬畏但以理的上帝，因為祂是永活長存的上帝，祂的國度永不滅亡，祂的統治直到永遠。

王對但以理說：「你們的上帝真是萬神之神、萬王之主、奧秘的啟示者，因為你能揭開這個奧秘。」

「七年後，我尼布甲尼撒舉目望天，恢復了神智，便稱頌至高者，讚美、尊崇永活者。祂的統治永無窮盡，祂的國度直到萬代。世人都微不足道，祂在天軍和世人中獨行其道，無人能攔阻祂的手，或質問祂的作為。「那時，我恢復了神智，也恢復了我的威嚴和榮耀，重現我國度的輝煌。我的謀士和大臣都來朝見我，我重掌國權，勢力比以前更大。現在我尼布甲尼撒頌讚、尊崇、敬奉天上的王，因為祂的作為公正，祂行事公平，能夠貶抑行為驕傲的人。」

用各省的文字和各族的語言寫諭旨，通告各省，丈夫要做一家之主，說話有權柄。

我們的敵人也承認他們的磐石不如我們的磐石。

耶和華是偉大的，當受至高的頌讚，祂的偉大無法測度。
