Then they gave money to the masons and carpenters, and gave food and drink and olive oil to the people of Sidon and Tyre, so that they would bring cedar logs by sea from Lebanon to Joppa, as authorized by Cyrus king of Persia.

The people gave money to those who worked with stone and those who worked with wood. They gave food and drink and olive oil to the people of Sidon and Tyre. Then those people brought cedar logs down from Lebanon to the Mediterranean Sea. They floated them down to Joppa. Cyrus, the king of Persia, authorized them to do it.

So they gave money to the masons and the carpenters, and food, drink, and oil to the Sidonians and the Tyrians to bring cedar trees from Lebanon to the sea, to Joppa, according to the grant that they had from Cyrus king of Persia.

Then the people hired masons and carpenters and bought cedar logs from the people of Tyre and Sidon, paying them with food, wine, and olive oil. The logs were brought down from the Lebanon mountains and floated along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea to Joppa, for King Cyrus had given permission for this.

They gave money to the stonecutters and artisans, and gave food, drink, and oil to the people of Sidon and Tyre, so they would bring cedar wood from Lebanon to Joppa by sea, according to the authorization given them by King Cyrus of Persia.

在约帕有一个女徒，名叫大比大，翻希腊话就是多加；她广行善事，多施周济。

把所平的银子交给督工的，就是耶和华殿里办事的人；他们把银子转交修理耶和华殿的木匠和工人，并瓦匠、石匠，又买木料和凿成的石头，修理耶和华殿的破坏之处，以及修理殿的各样使用。

我的仆人必将这木料从黎巴嫩运到海里，扎成筏子，浮海运到你所指定我的地方，在那里拆开，你就可以收取；你也要成全我的心愿，将食物给我的家。”于是希兰照着所罗门所要的，给他香柏木和松木；所罗门给希兰麦子二万歌珥，清油二十歌珥，作他家的食物。所罗门每年都是这样给希兰。

约拿却起来，逃往他施去躲避耶和华；下到约帕，遇见一只船，要往他施去。他就给了船价，上了船，要与船上的人同往他施去躲避耶和华。

你的仆人砍伐树木，我必给他们打好了的小麦二万歌珥，大麦二万歌珥，酒二万罢特，油二万罢特。”推罗王希兰写信回答所罗门说：“耶和华因为爱他的子民，所以立你作他们的王”；又说：“创造天地的耶和华以色列的神是应当称颂的！他赐给大卫王一个有智慧的儿子，使他有谋略聪明，可以为耶和华建造殿宇，又为自己的国建造宫室。“现在我打发一个精巧有聪明的人去，他是我父亲希兰所用的，是但支派一个妇人的儿子。他父亲是推罗人，他善用金、银、铜、铁、石、木，和紫色、蓝色、朱红色线与细麻制造各物，并精于雕刻，又能想出各样的巧工。请你派定这人，与你的巧匠和你父我主大卫的巧匠一同做工。我主所说的小麦、大麦、酒、油，愿我主运来给众仆人。我们必照你所需用的，从黎巴嫩砍伐树木，扎成筏子，浮海运到约帕；你可以从那里运到耶路撒冷。”

“波斯王居鲁士如此说：‘耶和华天上的神已将天下万国赐给我，又嘱咐我在犹大的耶路撒冷为他建造殿宇。在你们中间凡作他子民的，可以上犹大的耶路撒冷，在耶路撒冷重建耶和华以色列神的殿（只有他是神）。愿神与这人同在。凡剩下的人，无论寄居何处，那地的人要用金银、财物、牲畜帮助他，另外也要为耶路撒冷神的殿甘心献上礼物。’”

交给耶和华殿里办事的人，使他们转交耶和华殿里做工的人，好修理殿的破坏之处，就是转交木匠和工人，并瓦匠，又买木料和凿成的石头修理殿宇，

犹大和以色列地的人都与你交易；他们用米匿的麦子、饼、蜜、油、乳香兑换你的货物。

王与耶何耶大将银子交给耶和华殿里办事的人，他们就雇了石匠、木匠重修耶和华的殿，又雇了铁匠、铜匠修理耶和华的殿。工人操作，渐渐修成，将神殿修造得与从前一样，而且甚是坚固。

现在你当打发人往约帕去，请那称呼彼得的西门来。他住在海边一个硝皮匠西门的家里，房子在海边上。”

“居鲁士王元年，他降旨论到耶路撒冷神的殿，要建造这殿为献祭之处，坚立殿的根基。殿高六十肘，宽六十肘，用三层大石头，一层新木头，经费要出于王库；并且神殿的金银器皿，就是尼布甲尼撒从耶路撒冷的殿中掠到巴比伦的，要归还带到耶路撒冷的殿中，各按原处放在神的殿里。”
