In Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha( which is translated Dorcas). She was always doing good works and acts of charity.

Then they would give the weighed silver to those doing the work— those who oversaw the LORD’s temple. They in turn would pay it out to those working on the LORD’s temple— the carpenters, the builders,the masons, and the stonecutters— and would use it to buy timber and quarried stone to repair the damage to the LORD’s temple and for all expenses for temple repairs.

My servants will bring the logs down from Lebanon to the sea, and I will make them into rafts to go by sea to the place you indicate. I will break them apart there, and you can take them away. You then can meet my needs by providing my household with food.”So Hiram provided Solomon with all the cedar and cypress timber he wanted,and Solomon provided Hiram with one hundred twenty thousand bushels of wheat as food for his household and one hundred twenty thousand gallons of oil from crushed olives. Solomon did this for Hiram year after year.

Jonah got up to flee to Tarshish from the LORD’s presence. He went down to Joppa and found a ship going to Tarshish. He paid the fare and went down into it to go with them to Tarshish from the LORD’s presence.

He knows how to do all kinds of engraving and to execute any design that may be given him. I have sent him to be with your artisans and the artisans of my lord, your father David.Now, let my lord send the wheat, barley, oil, and wine to his servants as promised.We will cut logs from Lebanon, as many as you need, and bring them to you as rafts by sea to Joppa. You can then take them up to Jerusalem.

This is what King Cyrus of Persia says:“ The LORD, the God of the heavens, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and has appointed me to build him a house at Jerusalem in Judah.Any of his people among you, may his God be with him, and may he go to Jerusalem in Judah and build the house of the LORD, the God of Israel, the God who is in Jerusalem.Let every survivor, wherever he resides, be assisted by the men of that region with silver, gold, goods, and livestock, along with a freewill offering for the house of God in Jerusalem.”

It is to be given to those doing the work— those who oversee the LORD’s temple. They in turn are to give it to the workmen in the LORD’s temple to repair the damage.They are to give it to the carpenters, builders, and masons to buy timber and quarried stone to repair the temple.

Judah and the land of Israel were your merchants. They exchanged wheat from Minnith, meal, honey, oil, and balm, for your goods.

Then the king and Jehoiada gave it to those in charge of the labor on the LORD’s temple, who were hiring stonecutters and carpenters to renovate the LORD’s temple, also blacksmiths and coppersmiths to repair the LORD’s temple.The workmen did their work, and through them the repairs progressed. They restored God’s temple to its specifications and reinforced it.

Now send men to Joppa and call for Simon, who is also named Peter.He is lodging with Simon, a tanner, whose house is by the sea.”

In the first year of King Cyrus, he issued a decree concerning the house of God in Jerusalem: Let the house be rebuilt as a place for offering sacrifices, and let its original foundations be retained. Its height is to be ninety feet and its width ninety feet,with three layers of cut stones and one of timber. The cost is to be paid from the royal treasury.The gold and silver articles of God’s house that Nebuchadnezzar took from the temple in Jerusalem and carried to Babylon must also be returned. They are to be brought to the temple in Jerusalem where they belong and put into the house of God.
