With praise and thanksgiving they sang to the Lord:“ He is good; his love toward Israel endures forever.” And all the people gave a great shout of praise to the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid.

They sang to the Lord. They praised him. They gave thanks to him. They said,“ The Lord is good. His faithful love to Israel continues forever.” All the people gave a loud shout. They praised the Lord. They were glad because the foundation of the Lord’ s temple had been laid.

And they sang responsively, praising and giving thanks to the Lord,“ For he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever toward Israel.” And all the people shouted with a great shout when they praised the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid.

They sang with praise and thanksgiving to the LORD:“ For he is good; his faithful love to Israel endures forever.” Then all the people gave a great shout of praise to the LORD because the foundation of the LORD’s house had been laid.

They sang to one another in praising and giving thanks to Yahweh,“ For he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever toward Israel.” All the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised Yahweh, because the foundation of Yahweh’s house had been laid.

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.

When all the people of Israel saw the fire coming down and the glorious presence of the Lord filling the Temple, they fell face down on the ground and worshiped and praised the Lord, saying,“ He is good! His faithful love endures forever!”

the sounds of joy and laughter. The joyful voices of bridegrooms and brides will be heard again, along with the joyous songs of people bringing thanksgiving offerings to the Lord. His faithful love endures forever!’ For I will restore the prosperity of this land to what it was in the past, says the Lord.

These were the family leaders of the Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, and other associates, who stood opposite them during the ceremonies of praise and thanksgiving, one section responding to the other, as commanded by David, the man of God.

David also appointed Heman, Jeduthun, and the others chosen by name to give thanks to the Lord, for“ his faithful love endures forever.”

But the love of the Lord remains forever with those who fear him. His salvation extends to the children’s children

The two choirs that were giving thanks then proceeded to the Temple of God, where they took their places. So did I, together with the group of leaders who were with me.

You will arise and have mercy on Jerusalem— and now is the time to pity her, now is the time you promised to help.For your people love every stone in her walls and cherish even the dust in her streets.

Come, everyone! Clap your hands! Shout to God with joyful praise!

God has ascended with a mighty shout. The Lord has ascended with trumpets blaring.

They were calling out to each other,“ Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of Heaven’s Armies! The whole earth is filled with his glory!”

And Miriam sang this song:“ Sing to the Lord, for he has triumphed gloriously; he has hurled both horse and rider into the sea.”

So he took me in the Spirit to a great, high mountain, and he showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God.It shone with the glory of God and sparkled like a precious stone— like jasper as clear as crystal.The city wall was broad and high, with twelve gates guarded by twelve angels. And the names of the twelve tribes of Israel were written on the gates.There were three gates on each side— east, north, south, and west.The wall of the city had twelve foundation stones, and on them were written the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

When you hear the priests give one long blast on the rams’ horns, have all the people shout as loud as they can. Then the walls of the town will collapse, and the people can charge straight into the town.”

He shows mercy from generation to generation to all who fear him.

The seventh time around, as the priests sounded the long blast on their horns, Joshua commanded the people,“ Shout! For the Lord has given you the town!
