於是以利亞撒祭司把被燒死的人所獻的銅香爐拿來；它們被錘出來，用以包壇，給以色列人作紀念，為要叫亞倫子孫之外的人不得近前來，在耶和華面前燒香，免得他和可拉與同他一夥的人一樣，正如耶和華藉摩西所吩咐的。

你和你的兒子要謹守祭司的職分，負責一切關於祭壇和幔子內的事。我把祭司的職分賜給你們，作為賞賜好事奉我；凡挨近的外人必被處死。」
