Anyone who failed to appear within three days would forfeit all his property, in accordance with the decision of the officials and elders, and would himself be expelled from the assembly of the exiles.

人要把你们赶出会堂，并且时候将到，凡杀你们的就以为是侍奉神。

以色列人彼此问说：“以色列各支派中，谁没有同会众上到耶和华面前来呢？”先是以色列人起过大誓说，凡不上米斯巴到耶和华面前来的，必将他治死。

以色列民听见这律法，就与一切闲杂人绝交。

“但一切永献的，就是人从他所有永献给耶和华的，无论是人，是牲畜，是他承受为业的地，都不可卖，也不可赎。凡永献的是归给耶和华为至圣。

惟有金子、银子，和铜铁的器皿都要归耶和华为圣，必入耶和华的库中。”

他将一对牛切成块子，托付使者传送以色列的全境，说：“凡不出来跟随扫罗和撒母耳的，也必这样切开他的牛。”于是耶和华使百姓惧怕，他们就都出来，如同一人。

凡不遵行你神律法和王命令的人就当速速定他的罪，或治死，或充军，或抄家，或囚禁。”
