一句話說得合宜，就如金蘋果在銀網子裏。智慧人的勸戒在順從的人耳中，好像金環和金首飾。

都隨從他們貴族的弟兄發咒起誓，要遵行上帝藉他僕人摩西所賜的律法，謹守遵行耶和華－我們主的一切誡命、典章、律例。

現在，我們要與我們的上帝立約，送走所有的妻子和她們所生的，照着主和那些因我們上帝誡命戰兢之人所議定的，按律法去行。

膏油與香料使人心喜悅，朋友誠心的勸勉也是如此甘美。

智慧人聽見，增長學問，聰明人得着智謀，

耶穌卻不言語。大祭司對他說：「我指着永生上帝命令你起誓告訴我們，你是不是基督－上帝的兒子？」
