现在当与我们的神立约，休这一切的妻，离绝她们所生的，照着我主和那因神命令战兢之人所议定的，按律法而行。

Now let us make a covenant before our God to send away all these women and their children, in accordance with the counsel of my lord and of those who fear the commands of our God. Let it be done according to the Law.

So let’s make a covenant in front of our God. Let’s promise to send away all these women and their children. That’s what you have advised us to do. Those who respect our God’s commands have given us the same advice. We want to do what the Law says.

Therefore let us make a covenant with our God to put away all these wives and their children, according to the counsel of my lord and of those who tremble at the commandment of our God, and let it be done according to the Law.

Let us now make a covenant with our God to divorce our pagan wives and to send them away with their children. We will follow the advice given by you and by the others who respect the commands of our God. Let it be done according to the Law of God.

凡为以色列神言语战兢的，都因这被掳归回之人所犯的罪聚集到我这里来。我就惊惧忧闷而坐，直到献晚祭的时候。

耶和华你神将他们交给你击杀，那时你要把他们灭绝净尽，不可与他们立约，也不可怜恤他们。不可与他们结亲。不可将你的女儿嫁他们的儿子，也不可叫你的儿子娶他们的女儿；

神也感动犹大人，使他们一心遵行王与众首领凭耶和华之言所发的命令。

我对其余的人说，不是主说，倘若某弟兄有不信的妻子，妻子也情愿和他同住，他就不要离弃妻子。妻子有不信的丈夫，丈夫也情愿和她同住，她就不要离弃丈夫。

因这一切的事，我们立确实的约，写在册上。我们的首领、利未人，和祭司都签了名。

我思想我所行的道，就转步归向你的法度。

我因惧怕你，肉就发抖；我也怕你的判语。

为要你顺从耶和华你神今日与你所立的约，向你所起的誓。

耶和华对他说：“你去走遍耶路撒冷全城，那些因城中所行可憎之事叹息哀哭的人，画记号在额上。”

都随从他们贵胄的弟兄，发咒起誓，必遵行神藉他仆人摩西所传的律法，谨守遵行耶和华我们主的一切诫命、典章、律例；并不将我们的女儿嫁给这地的居民，也不为我们的儿子娶他们的女儿。这地的居民若在安息日，或什么圣日，带了货物或粮食来卖给我们，我们必不买。每逢第七年必不耕种，凡欠我们债的必不追讨。我们又为自己定例，每年各人捐银一舍客勒三分之一，为我们神殿的使用，就是为陈设饼、常献的素祭，和燔祭，安息日、月朔、节期所献的与圣物，并以色列人的赎罪祭，以及我们神殿里一切的费用。我们的祭司、利未人，和百姓都掣签，看每年是哪一族按定期将献祭的柴奉到我们神的殿里，照着律法上所写的，烧在耶和华我们神的坛上。又定每年将我们地上初熟的土产和各样树上初熟的果子都奉到耶和华的殿里。又照律法上所写的，将我们头胎的儿子和首生的牛羊都奉到我们神的殿，交给我们神殿里供职的祭司；并将初熟之麦子所磨的面和举祭、各样树上初熟的果子、新酒与油奉给祭司，收在我们神殿的库房里，把我们地上所产的十分之一奉给利未人，因利未人在我们一切城邑的土产中当取十分之一。利未人取十分之一的时候，亚伦的子孙中，当有一个祭司与利未人同在。利未人也当从十分之一中取十分之一，奉到我们神殿的屋子里，收在库房中。以色列人和利未人要将五谷、新酒，和油为举祭，奉到收存圣所器皿的屋子里，就是供职的祭司、守门的、歌唱的所住的屋子。这样，我们就不离弃我们神的殿。

他们到吉甲营中见约书亚，对他和以色列人说：“我们是从远方来的，现在求你与我们立约。”

现在我心中有意与耶和华以色列的神立约，好使他的烈怒转离我们。

当日，人念摩西的律法书给百姓听，遇见书上写着说，亚扪人和摩押人永不可入神的会；因为他们没有拿食物和水来迎接以色列人，且雇了巴兰咒诅他们，但我们的神使那咒诅变为祝福。以色列民听见这律法，就与一切闲杂人绝交。

这些人都娶了外邦女子为妻，其中也有生了儿女的。

人当以训诲和法度为标准；他们所说的，若不与此相符，必不得见晨光。

耶和华说：“这一切都是我手所造的，所以就都有了。但我所看顾的，就是虚心痛悔、因我话而战兢的人。

就是听见我指着这地和其上居民所说的话，你便心里敬服，在我面前自卑，撕裂衣服，向我哭泣，因此我应允了你。这是我耶和华说的。

你们若稍微转去，与你们中间所剩下的这些国民联络，彼此结亲，互相往来，你们要确实知道，耶和华你们的神必不再将他们从你们眼前赶出；他们却要成为你们的网罗、机槛、肋上的鞭、眼中的刺，直到你们在耶和华你们神所赐的这美地上灭亡。

耶何耶大使王和民与耶和华立约，作耶和华的民；又使王与民立约。

“你们去为我、为以色列和犹大剩下的人，以这书上的话求问耶和华；因我们列祖没有遵守耶和华的言语，没有照这书上所记的去行，耶和华的烈怒就倒在我们身上。”

他们见律法上写着，耶和华藉摩西吩咐以色列人要在七月节住棚，

王站在他的地位上，在耶和华面前立约，要尽心尽性地顺从耶和华，遵守他的诫命、法度、律例，成就这书上所记的约言；又使住耶路撒冷和便雅悯的人都服从这约。于是耶路撒冷的居民都遵行他们列祖之神的约。
