我也看見耶路撒冷的先知行為可惡，他們通姦，謊話連篇，慫恿惡人，以致無人悔過自新。在我眼中，耶路撒冷人就像所多瑪人和蛾摩拉人一樣敗壞。

以利年事已高，他聽說兩個兒子對待以色列人的惡行，以及他們與在會幕門口供職的婦女行淫的事後，就對他們說：「你們為什麼做這樣的事？我從百姓口中聽說了有關你們的惡行。我兒啊，不可這樣，我聽到在耶和華的子民中流傳著你們的壞名聲。

耶書亞生約雅金，約雅金生以利亞實，以利亞實生耶何耶大，

然而，你們卻偏離正道，你們的教導使許多人跌倒，破壞了我和利未所立的約。」這是萬軍之耶和華說的。「因此，我必使你們在眾人面前遭藐視、輕賤。因為你們不遵守我的道，在教導上偏心待人。」

耶和華說：「先知和祭司都不敬虔，我甚至看見他們在我的聖殿裡行惡。

亞撒利雅生西萊雅，西萊雅生約薩答。在耶和華藉尼布甲尼撒擄掠猶大和耶路撒冷人的時候，約薩答也一起被擄去了。

他必須娶處女為妻，不可娶寡婦、被休的女人或妓女，只可娶本族中的處女為妻，以免在民中玷污自己的子孫，因為我是使他們聖潔的耶和華。」

以利亞實大祭司的孫子、耶何耶大的一個兒子娶了和倫人參巴拉的女兒，我就把他趕了出去。

他們不可娶妓女或被休的女人為妻，因為祭司要為了我而保持聖潔。
