Now honor the Lord, the God of your ancestors, and do his will. Separate yourselves from the peoples around you and from your foreign wives.”

不要效法这个世界，只要心意更新而变化，叫你们察验何为神的善良、纯全、可喜悦的旨意。

不可与他们结亲。不可将你的女儿嫁他们的儿子，也不可叫你的儿子娶他们的女儿；因为他必使你儿子转离不跟从主，去侍奉别神，以致耶和华的怒气向你们发作，就速速地将你们灭绝。

约书亚对亚干说：“我儿，我劝你将荣耀归给耶和华以色列的神，在他面前认罪，将你所做的事告诉我，不要向我隐瞒。”

现在当与我们的神立约，休这一切的妻，离绝她们所生的，照着我主和那因神命令战兢之人所议定的，按律法而行。

遮掩自己罪过的，必不亨通；承认离弃罪过的，必蒙怜恤。

又说：“你们务要从他们中间出来，与他们分别；不要沾不洁净的物，我就收纳你们。

我向你陈明我的罪，不隐瞒我的恶。我说：“我要向耶和华承认我的过犯。”你就赦免我的罪恶。细拉

我们若在光明中行，如同神在光明中，就彼此相交，他儿子耶稣的血也洗净我们一切的罪。我们若说自己无罪，便是自欺，真理不在我们心里了。我们若认自己的罪，神是信实的，是公义的，必要赦免我们的罪，洗净我们一切的不义。

你们要洗濯、自洁，从我眼前除掉你们的恶行，要止住作恶，学习行善，寻求公平，解救受欺压的；给孤儿伸冤，为寡妇辨屈。”耶和华说：“你们来，我们彼此辩论。你们的罪虽像朱红，必变成雪白；虽红如丹颜，必白如羊毛。

只要承认你的罪孽，就是你违背耶和华你的神，在各青翠树下向别神东奔西跑，没有听从我的话。这是耶和华说的。’

我们所领受的，并不是世上的灵，乃是从神来的灵，叫我们能知道神开恩赐给我们的事。并且我们讲说这些事，不是用人智慧所指教的言语，乃是用圣灵所指教的言语，将属灵的话解释属灵的事。然而，属血气的人不领会神圣灵的事，反倒以为愚拙，并且不能知道，因为这些事惟有属灵的人才能看透。

在各样善事上成全你们，叫你们遵行他的旨意；又藉着耶稣基督在你们心里行他所喜悦的事。愿荣耀归给他，直到永永远远。阿们！

这事做完了，众首领来见我，说：“以色列民和祭司并利未人，没有离绝迦南人、赫人、比利洗人、耶布斯人、亚扪人、摩押人、埃及人、亚摩利人，仍效法这些国的民，行可憎的事。

因为耶和华如此说：“那些谨守我的安息日，拣选我所喜悦的事，持守我约的太监，

“他们要承认自己的罪和他们祖宗的罪，就是干犯我的那罪，并且承认自己行事与我反对，我所以行事与他们反对，把他们带到仇敌之地。那时，他们未受割礼的心若谦卑了，他们也服了罪孽的刑罚，我就要记念我与雅各所立的约，与以撒所立的约，与亚伯拉罕所立的约，并要记念这地。

好叫你们行事为人对得起主，凡事蒙他喜悦，在一切善事上结果子，渐渐地多知道神；

以色列民听见这律法，就与一切闲杂人绝交。
