Now honor the Lord, the God of your ancestors, and do his will. Separate yourselves from the peoples around you and from your foreign wives.”

不要模仿这个世代，倒要藉着心意的更新而改变过来，使你们可以察验出什么是神的旨意，就是察验出什么是美好的、蒙他悦纳的和完全的事。

不可与他们通婚，不可把你的女儿嫁给他们的儿子，也不可为你的儿子娶他们的女儿。因为他必使你的儿子离开我，去事奉别的神，以致耶和华向你们发烈怒，就快快地把你们消灭。

约书亚对亚干说：“我儿，我劝你把荣耀归给耶和华以色列的神，向他认罪，告诉我你作了什么事，不可向我隐瞒。”

现在，我们应当与我们的神立约，按着我主和那些因我们神的诫命而战兢的人所议定的，照着律法而行，送走这些妻子和她们所生的儿女。

遮掩自己过犯的，必不亨通；承认并离弃过犯的，必蒙怜悯。

所以，“主说：你们要从他们中间出来，和他们分开，不可触摸不洁净的东西，我就收纳你们。”

我向你承认我的罪，没有隐藏我的罪孽；我说：“我要向耶和华承认我的过犯”；你就赦免我的罪孽。（细拉）

我们若行在光中，像他在光中一样，就彼此相通，他儿子耶稣的血也洁净我们脱离一切罪。我们若说自己没有罪，就是自欺，真理就不在我们里面了。我们若承认自己的罪，神是信实的、公义的，必定赦免我们的罪，洁净我们脱离一切不义。

你们要洗涤自己，洁净自己；从我眼前除掉你们的恶行；要停止作恶，学习行善，寻求公平，指责残暴的人，替孤儿伸冤，为寡妇辨屈。”耶和华说：“你们来，我们彼此辩论；你们的罪虽像硃红，必变成雪白；虽红如丹颜，必白如羊毛。

‘只要你承认自己的罪孽，就是悖逆了耶和华你的神，在每棵繁茂的树下，滥爱外族人的神，没有听从我的话。’这是耶和华的宣告。

我们所领受的，不是这世界的灵，而是从神来的灵，使我们能知道神开恩赐给我们的事。我们也讲这些事，不是用人的智慧所教的言语，而是用圣灵所教的言语，向属灵的人解释属灵的事（“向属灵的人解释属灵的事”或译：“用属灵的话解释属灵的事”）。然而属血气的人不接受神的灵的事，因为他以为是愚笨的；而且他也不能够明白，因为这些事，要有属灵的眼光才能领悟。

在一切善事上成全你们，好使你们遵行他的旨意；又藉着耶稣基督在我们里面，行他所喜悦的事。愿荣耀归给他，直到永永远远。阿们。

“完成这些事以后，众领袖前来见我，说：‘以色列民、祭司和利未人没有从当地的民族中分别出来，他们随从迦南人、赫人、比利洗人、耶布斯人、亚扪人、摩押人、埃及人和亚摩利人行可憎的事。

因为耶和华这样说：“那些谨守我的安息日，拣选我所喜悦的事，持守我的约、被阉割了的人，

“那时他们就会承认自己的罪孽和他们祖先的罪孽，就是他们对我不忠的过犯，又承认因为行事与我的心意相违，以致我也与他们作对，把他们带到他们的仇敌之地。如果他们未受割礼的心这样谦卑下来，情愿接受他们罪孽的刑罚，我就记念我与雅各所立的约，记念我与以撒所立的约，与亚伯拉罕所立的约；我也记念这地。

使你们行事为人对得起主，凡事蒙他喜悦；在一切善事上多结果子，更加认识神；

众民听见了这律法，就跟一切闲杂人分离。
