就在那时候，有几个在那里的人，把加利利人的事告诉耶稣，就是彼拉多把他们的血和他们的祭物搀在一起的事。

他像仇敌拉弓，他的右手已经预备好。他像敌人把一切悦人眼目的都杀灭了；他如火的忿怒倒在锡安居民（“居民”原文作“女子”）的帐棚上。主好像成了仇敌；他吞灭了以色列和她所有的宫殿，毁坏了她的坚固城。他在犹大居民的中间，增添了悲哀和哭号。他把自己的住所破坏，好像园子一样；他毁坏了属他的聚会之处。耶和华使节期和安息日都在锡安被忘记；他在他的盛怒中弃绝了君王和祭司。主丢弃了自己的祭坛，厌弃了自己的圣所。他把宫殿的围墙，交付在仇敌的手里；他们在耶和华的殿中喧嚷，好像庆祝节日一样。

神啊！外族人侵入你的产业，污秽了你的圣殿，使耶路撒冷成为废墟。（本节在《马索拉文本》包括细字标题）他们把你仆人的尸首，给空中的飞鸟啄食；把你圣民的肉，给地上的野兽吞噬。他们在耶路撒冷的周围把圣民的血像水一般倒出，没有人埋葬他们。
