The LORD said to him,“ Go through the city of Jerusalem and put a mark on the foreheads of the people who moan and groan over all the abominations practiced in it.”

對他說：「你去走遍耶路撒冷，在那些因城中可憎之事而歎息哀傷的人額上畫個記號。」

對他說：“你要走遍耶路撒冷全城，那些因城中所行的一切可憎的事而歎息悲哀的人，你要在他們的額上畫個記號。”

對他說：『你去走遍城中、耶路撒冷中間，在那些為了城中所行可厭惡的事而歎息唉哼的人額上畫個刀字的記號。』

諭之曰、巡耶路撒冷城、凡緣邑中所行可惡之事、欷歔哭泣者、則印誌於其顙、

主諭之曰、爾巡行耶路撒冷邑中、凡因邑中所行可憎之事、嗟嘆欷歔者、則畫號於其額上、

and said to him,“ Go throughout the city of Jerusalem and put a mark on the foreheads of those who grieve and lament over all the detestable things that are done in it.”

The Lord said to him,“ Go all through Jerusalem. Look for those who are sad and sorry about all the things being done there. I hate those things. Put a mark on the foreheads of those people.”

And the Lord said to him,“ Pass through the city, through Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and groan over all the abominations that are committed in it.”

He said to him,“ Walk through the streets of Jerusalem and put a mark on the foreheads of all who weep and sigh because of the detestable sins being committed in their city.”

“ Pass throughout the city of Jerusalem,” the LORD said to him,“ and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and groan over all the detestable practices committed in it.”

And the Lord said to him,“ Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and make a mark on the foreheads of the people who groan and sigh over all the abominations which are being committed in its midst.”

and the Lord said to him,“ Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it.”

And Jehovah said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry over all the abominations that are done in the midst thereof.

“ Pass throughout the city of Jerusalem,” the Lord said to him,“ and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and groan over all the detestable practices committed in it.”

And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

Yahweh said to him,“ Go through the middle of the city, through the middle of Jerusalem, and set a mark on the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry over all the abominations that are done within it.”

who also sealed us and gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a down payment.

They were told not to damage the grass of the earth, or any green plant or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their forehead.

Then I looked, and here was the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with him were one hundred and forty- four thousand, who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads.

Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, who had the seal of the living God. He shouted out with a loud voice to the four angels who had been given permission to damage the earth and the sea:“ Do not damage the earth or the sea or the trees until we have put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.”

Then I saw thrones and seated on them were those who had been given authority to judge. I also saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of the testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. These had not worshiped the beast or his image and had refused to receive his mark on their forehead or hand. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

But if you will not pay attention to this warning, I will weep alone because of your arrogant pride. I will weep bitterly and my eyes will overflow with tears because you, the LORD’s flock, will be carried into exile.”

Tears stream down from my eyes, because people do not keep your law.צ( Tsade)

Rage takes hold of me because of the wicked, those who reject your law.

They will take some of the blood and put it on the two side posts and top of the doorframe of the houses where they will eat it.

The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are, so that when I see the blood I will pass over you, and this plague will not fall on you to destroy you when I attack the land of Egypt.

However, God’s solid foundation remains standing, bearing this seal:“ The Lord knows those who are his,” and“ Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from evil.”

So the beast opened his mouth to blaspheme against God– to blaspheme both his name and his dwelling place, that is, those who dwell in heaven.The beast was permitted to go to war against the saints and conquer them. He was given ruling authority over every tribe, people, language, and nation,

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

( for while he lived among them day after day, that righteous man was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)– if so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from their trials, and to reserve the unrighteous for punishment at the day of judgment,

“‘ This is what the sovereign LORD says: Clap your hands, stamp your feet, and say,“ Ah!” because of all the evil, abominable practices of the house of Israel, for they will fall by the sword, famine, and pestilence.

For this is what the high and exalted one says, the one who rules forever, whose name is holy:“ I dwell in an exalted and holy place, but also with the discouraged and humiliated, in order to cheer up the humiliated and to encourage the discouraged.

I am afraid that when I come again, my God may humiliate me before you, and I will grieve for many of those who previously sinned and have not repented of the impurity, sexual immorality, and licentiousness that they have practiced.

Then those who respected the LORD spoke to one another, and the LORD took notice. A scroll was prepared before him in which were recorded the names of those who respected the LORD and honored his name.

“ And you, son of man, groan with an aching heart and bitterness; groan before their eyes.

‘ You displayed a sensitive spirit and humbled yourself before the LORD when you heard how I intended to make this place and its residents into an appalling example of an accursed people. You tore your clothes and wept before me, and I have heard you,’ says the LORD.‘ Therefore I will allow you to die and be buried in peace. You will not have to witness all the disaster I will bring on this place.’”’” Then they reported back to the king.

“ Go, seek an oracle from the LORD for me and the people– for all Judah. Find out about the words of this scroll that has been discovered. For the LORD’s fury has been ignited against us, because our ancestors have not obeyed the words of this scroll by doing all that it instructs us to do.”
