And behold, six men came from the direction of the upper gate which faces north, each with his smashing weapon in his hand; and among them was one man clothed in linen with a scribe’s kit at his waist. And they came in and stood beside the bronze altar.

則見有六人、自北向之上門、各執誅戮之器而至、中有一人、衣枲衣、腰墨角、咸入、立於銅壇之側、

有六人至、自北之崇門、各執殺人利器、中有一人、身衣枲衣、腰懸墨盂、咸入殿中、立於銅臺之側。

有六人、自向北之上門而來、各執滅人之器械、中有一人、身衣白細麻衣、腰懸文具、咸入立於銅祭臺側、

And I saw six men coming from the direction of the upper gate, which faces north, each with a deadly weapon in his hand. With them was a man clothed in linen who had a writing kit at his side. They came in and stood beside the bronze altar.

Six men soon appeared from the upper gate that faces north, each carrying a deadly weapon in his hand. With them was a man dressed in linen, who carried a writer’s case at his side. They all went into the Temple courtyard and stood beside the bronze altar.

And I saw six men coming from the direction of the Upper Gate, which faces north, each with a war club in his hand. There was another man among them, clothed in linen, carrying writing equipment. They came and stood beside the bronze altar.

And suddenly six men came from the direction of the upper gate, which faces north, each with his battle-ax in his hand. One man among them was clothed with linen and had a writer’s inkhorn at his side. They went in and stood beside the bronze altar.

And behold, six men came from the way of the upper gate, which lieth toward the north, every man with his slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man in the midst of them clothed in linen, with a writer’s inkhorn by his side. And they went in, and stood beside the brazen altar.

And I saw six men coming from the direction of the Upper Gate, which faces north, each with a war club in his hand. There was another man among them, clothed in linen, with writing equipment at his side. They came and stood beside the bronze altar.

And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them[ was] clothed with linen, with a writer’s inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar.

Next, I noticed six men coming from the direction of the upper gate which faces north, each with his war club in his hand. Among them was a man dressed in linen with a writing kit at his side. They came and stood beside the bronze altar.

Behold, six men came from the way of the upper gate, which lies toward the north, every man with his slaughter weapon in his hand. One man in the middle of them was clothed in linen, with a writer’s inkhorn by his side. They went in, and stood beside the bronze altar.

And He spoke to the man clothed in linen and said,“ Enter between the whirling wheels under the cherubim and fill your hands with coals of fire from between the cherubim, and scatter them over the city.” And he entered in my sight.

He shall put on the holy linen tunic, and the linen undergarments shall be next to his body, and he shall be wrapped about the waist with the linen sash and the linen turban wound around his forehead( these are holy garments). He shall bathe his body in water and put them on.

Only the high places were not eliminated; the people still sacrificed and burned incense on the high places. He built the upper gate of the house of the Lord.

And it came about when He commanded the man clothed in linen, saying,“ Take fire from between the whirling wheels, from between the cherubim,” he entered and stood beside a wheel.Then the cherub reached out with his hand from between the cherubim to the fire which was between the cherubim, took some coals and put them into the hands of the one clothed in linen; and he took them and went out.

and the seven angels who had the seven plagues came out of the temple, clothed in linen, clean and bright, and their chests wrapped with golden sashes.

From Dan there is heard the snorting of his horses; At the sound of the neighing of his stallions The whole land quakes; For they come and devour the land and its fullness, The city and its inhabitants.“ For behold, I am sending serpents among you, Vipers for which there is no charm; And they will bite you,” declares the Lord.

When the officials of Judah heard these things, they came up from the king’s house to the house of the Lord and sat at the entrance of the New Gate of the Lord’s house.

He built the upper gate of the house of the Lord, and he built the wall of Ophel extensively.

Then he made a bronze altar, twenty cubits in length, twenty cubits in width, and ten cubits in height.

For, behold, I am calling all the families of the kingdoms of the north,” declares the Lord;“ and they will come and place, each one of them, his throne at the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all its walls around, and against all the cities of Judah.

“ Now you shall make the altar of acacia wood, five cubits long and five cubits wide; the altar shall be square, and its height shall be three cubits.You shall make its horns on its four corners; its horns shall be of one piece with it, and you shall overlay it with bronze.And you shall make its pails for removing its ashes, and its shovels, its basins, its forks, and its firepans; you shall make all its utensils of bronze.You shall also make for it a grating, a netting of bronze, and on the netting you shall make four bronze rings at its four corners.And you shall put it under the ledge of the altar, so that the netting will reach halfway up the altar.You shall also make carrying poles for the altar, poles of acacia wood and overlay them with bronze.Its poles shall be inserted into the rings, so that the poles will be on the two sides of the altar when it is carried.

Behold, I am bringing a nation against you from far away, you house of Israel,” declares the Lord.“ It is an enduring nation, It is an ancient nation, A nation whose language you do not know, Nor can you understand what they say.Their quiver is like an open grave, All of them are warriors.They will devour your harvest and your food; They will devour your sons and your daughters; They will devour your flocks and your herds; They will devour your vines and your fig trees; They will demolish your fortified cities, in which you trust, with the sword.

behold, I will send and take all the families of the north,’ declares the Lord,‘ and I will send to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, My servant, and will bring them against this land and against its inhabitants and against all these surrounding nations; and I will completely destroy them and make them an object of horror and hissing, and an everlasting place of ruins.

And he set the altar of burnt offering in front of the doorway of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the meal offering, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
