He stretched out what looked like a hand and took me by the hair of my head. The Spirit lifted me up between earth and heaven and in visions of God he took me to Jerusalem, to the entrance of the north gate of the inner court, where the idol that provokes to jealousy stood.

He reached out what appeared to be a hand. He took hold of me by the hair of my head. The Spirit of the Lord lifted me up between earth and heaven. In visions God gave me, the Spirit took me to Jerusalem. He brought me to the entrance of the north gate of the inner courtyard. The statue of a god was standing there. It made God very angry.

他們用外邦神明惹神妒忌，以可憎之物惹他發怒。

靈將我舉起，帶我到耶和華聖殿面向東方的東門。看哪，門口有二十五個人。我見其中有百姓的領袖押朔的兒子雅撒尼亞和比拿雅的兒子毗拉提。

主耶和華說：我指着我的永生起誓，因你用一切可憎之物、可厭的事玷污我的聖所，所以，我要把你剃光，我的眼必不顧惜你，也不可憐你。

當時，忽然有人的指頭出現，在燈臺對面王宮粉刷的牆上寫字。王看見寫字的指頭，

他們以那不是神的激起我妒忌，以虛無的神明惹我發怒。我要以不成國的激起你們嫉妒，我要以愚頑的國惹起你們發怒。

靈將我舉起，在異象中神的靈將我帶回迦勒底地，到被擄的人那裏；之後我所見的異象就離我上升去了。

我觀看，看哪，有一隻手向我伸來；看哪，手中有一書卷。

我認識一個在基督裏的人，他在十四年前被提到第三層天上去；或在身內，我不知道，或在身外，我也不知道，只有神知道。我認識的這樣的一個人－或在身內，或在身外，我都不知道，只有神知道－他被提到樂園裏，聽見隱祕的言語，是人不可說的。

看哪，有一隻手摸我，使我膝蓋和手掌戰抖。

你們不能喝主的杯，又喝鬼的杯；不能吃主的筵席，又吃鬼的筵席。我們要惹主的嫉恨嗎？我們比他更強嗎？

約書亞對百姓說：「你們不能事奉耶和華，因為他是神聖的神，是忌邪的神，必不赦免你們的過犯罪惡。

他移動耶和華面前的銅壇，從殿的前面，新壇和耶和華殿的中間，搬到新壇的北邊。

他們從水裏上來，主的靈把腓利提了去，太監再也看不見他了，就歡歡喜喜地上路。

對他說：「看哪，僕人這裏有五十個壯士，請你讓他們去尋找你師父，或者耶和華的靈將他提起來，投在某山某谷。」以利沙說：「你們不必派人去。」

神對我說：「人子啊，你舉目向北觀看。」我就舉目向北觀看，看哪，祭壇門北邊的門口有那惹動妒忌的偶像。

有一位形狀像人的再一次摸我，使我有力量。

他們用所誇耀華美的妝飾製造可憎可厭的偶像，所以我使他們看它如污穢之物。

我立刻被聖靈感動，見有一個寶座安置在天上，有一位坐在寶座上。那坐着的，看來好像碧玉和紅寶石；又有彩虹圍着寶座，光彩好像綠寶石。寶座的周圍又有二十四個座位，上面坐着二十四位長老，身穿白衣，頭上戴着金冠冕。有閃電、聲音、雷轟從寶座中發出。在寶座前點着七支火炬，就是神的七靈。寶座前有一個如同水晶的玻璃海。寶座的周圍，四邊有四個活物，遍體前後都長滿了眼睛。第一個活物像獅子，第二個像牛犢，第三個的臉像人臉，第四個像飛鷹。四個活物各有六個翅膀，遍體內外都長滿了眼睛。他們晝夜不住地說：「聖哉！聖哉！聖哉！主－全能的神；昔在、今在、以後永在！」每逢四活物將榮耀、尊貴、感謝歸給那坐在寶座上、活到永永遠遠者的時候，二十四位長老就俯伏敬拜坐在寶座上活到永永遠遠的那一位，又把他們的冠冕放在寶座前，說：「我們的主，我們的神，你配得榮耀、尊貴、權柄，因為你創造了萬物，萬物因你的旨意被創造而存在。」

「猶大人行我眼中看為惡的事，將可憎之偶像立在稱為我名下的殿裏，玷污這殿。這是耶和華說的。

恐怕我一離開你，耶和華的靈就把你提到我所不知道的地方去。這樣，我去告訴亞哈，他若找不到你，就必殺我。僕人是自幼敬畏耶和華的。

於是靈將我舉起，帶着我走。我就去了，十分苦惱，我的靈火熱；耶和華的手重重地按在我身上。

不可敬拜別神，因為耶和華是忌邪的神，他的名是忌邪者。

以丘壇惹他發怒，以雕刻的偶像使他忌恨。

竟把可憎之偶像設立在稱為我名下的殿中，玷污了這殿。

那時，靈將我舉起，我就聽見在我身後有極大震動的聲音：「耶和華的榮耀，從他所在之處，是應當稱頌的！」

他又把自己所造的亞舍拉雕像立在殿內，耶和華曾對大衛和他兒子所羅門說：「我在以色列眾支派中所選擇的耶路撒冷和這殿，必立我的名，直到永遠。

有一主日我被聖靈感動，聽見在我後面有大聲音如吹號，說：「把你所看見的寫在書上，寄給以弗所、士每拿、別迦摩、推雅推喇、撒狄、非拉鐵非、老底嘉那七個教會。」我轉過身來要看看是誰的聲音在跟我說話。我一轉過來，看見了七個金燈臺；在燈臺中間有一位好像人子的，身穿垂到腳的長袍，胸間束着金帶。他的頭與髮皆白，如白羊毛，如雪；他的眼睛好像火焰，雙腳好像在爐中鍛鍊得發亮的銅，聲音好像眾水的聲音。他右手拿着七顆星，從他口中吐出一把兩刃的利劍，面貌好像烈日放光。我看見了他，就仆倒在他腳前，像死人一樣。他用右手按着我說：「不要怕。我是首先的，是末後的，又是永活的。我曾死過，看哪，我是活着的，直到永永遠遠；並且我拿着死亡和陰間的鑰匙。所以，你要把所看見的事、現在的事和以後將發生的事，都寫下來。至於你所看見、在我右手中的七顆星和那七個金燈臺的奧祕就是：七顆星是七個教會的使者，七個燈臺是七個教會。」
