Therefore I will act with fury! My eye will not pity them nor will I spare them. When they have shouted in my ears, I will not listen to them.”

故我必以怒待之、我目不顧惜之、不加矜憫、彼雖大聲呼於我耳、猶不聽之、

故我怒憤烈、不加矜憫、滅之務盡、彼雖大聲籲呼於上、我必不應。

故我亦震怒罰之、我目不顧惜、我不加矜憫、彼雖大聲呼籲我、我必不應之、

Therefore I will deal with them in anger; I will not look on them with pity or spare them. Although they shout in my ears, I will not listen to them.”

So I am angry with them. I will punish them. I will not spare them or feel sorry for them. They might even shout in my ears. But I will not listen to them.”

Therefore I will act in wrath. My eye will not spare, nor will I have pity. And though they cry in my ears with a loud voice, I will not hear them.”

Therefore, I will respond in fury. I will neither pity nor spare them. And though they cry for mercy, I will not listen.”

Therefore I will respond with wrath. I will not show pity or spare them. Though they call loudly in my hearing, I will not listen to them.”

Therefore, I indeed will deal in wrath. My eye will have no pity nor will I spare; and though they cry out in My ears with a loud voice, yet I will not listen to them.”

Someday these sinners will cry to the LORD for help, but he will not answer them. He will hide his face from them at that time, because they have done such wicked deeds.”

When you spread out your hands in prayer, I look the other way; when you offer your many prayers, I do not listen, because your hands are covered with blood.

“‘ It then came about that just as I cried out, but they would not obey, so they will cry out, but I will not listen,’ the LORD LORD WHO RULES OVER ALL had said.

So I, the LORD, say this:‘ I will soon bring disaster on them which they will not be able to escape! When they cry out to me for help, I will not listen to them.

Then they will call to me, but I will not answer; they will diligently seek me, but they will not find me.

But since you abandoned me and worshiped other gods, I will not deliver you again.Go and cry for help to the gods you have chosen! Let them deliver you from trouble!”

My eye will not pity you; I will not spare you. For I will hold you responsible for your behavior, and you will suffer the consequences of your abominable practices. Then you will know that I am the LORD!“ This is what the sovereign LORD says: A disaster– a one-of-a-kind disaster– is coming!An end comes– the end comes! It has awakened against you– the end is upon you! Look, it is coming!Doom is coming upon you who live in the land! The time is coming, the day is near. There are sounds of tumult, not shouts of joy, on the mountains.Soon now I will pour out my rage on you; I will fully vent my anger against you. I will judge you according to your behavior. I will hold you accountable for all your abominable practices.My eye will not pity you; I will not spare you. For your behavior I will hold you accountable, and you will suffer the consequences of your abominable practices. Then you will know that it is I, the LORD, who is striking you.

But as for me, my eye will not pity them nor will I spare them; I hereby repay them for what they have done.”

You mix uncleanness with obscene conduct. I tried to cleanse you, but you are not clean. You will not be cleansed from your uncleanness until I have exhausted my anger on you.

Even if they fast, I will not hear their cries for help. Even if they offer burnt offerings and grain offerings, I will not accept them. Instead, I will kill them through wars, famines, and plagues.”

The LORD is a zealous and avenging God; the LORD is avenging and very angry. The LORD takes vengeance against his foes; he sustains his rage against his enemies.

Once the head of the house gets up and shuts the door, then you will stand outside and start to knock on the door and beg him,‘ Lord, let us in!’ But he will answer you,‘ I don’t know where you come from.’

But your sinful acts have alienated you from your God; your sins have caused him to reject you and not listen to your prayers.

While I listened, he said to the others,“ Go through the city after him and strike people down; do no let your eye pity nor spare anyone!

“ Therefore, as surely as I live, says the sovereign LORD, because you defiled my sanctuary with all your detestable idols and with all your abominable practices, I will withdraw; my eye will not pity you, nor will I spare you.A third of your people will die of plague or be overcome by the famine within you. A third of your people will fall by the sword surrounding you, and a third I will scatter to the winds. I will unleash a sword behind them.Then my anger will be fully vented; I will exhaust my rage on them, and I will be appeased. Then they will know that I, the LORD, have spoken in my jealousy when I have fully vented my rage against them.

I will exhaust my rage on you, and then my fury will turn from you. I will calm down and no longer be angry.
