Then he said to me,“ Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel are doing in the dark, each in his room of pictures? For they say,‘ The Lord does not see us, the Lord has forsaken the land.’”

祂又对我说：“人子啊，你看见以色列的长老在自己藏神像的房间里暗中所做的了吗？他们说，‘耶和华看不见我们，祂已经抛弃了这片土地。’”

他对我说：“人子啊！以色列家的众长老各在自己偶像的房间里暗中所行的，你看见了吗？他们说：‘耶和华看不见我们，耶和华已经离开这地了。’”

他對我說：「人子啊，以色列家的長老暗中在各人畫像屋裏所行的，你看見了嗎？他們常說：『耶和華看不見我們；耶和華已經離棄這地。』」

他對我說：「人子啊，你看見以色列家的長老，暗中在自己偶像的房間裏所做的嗎？因為他們說：『耶和華看不見我們；耶和華已經離棄這地。』」

他對我說：「人子啊，你看見以色列家的長老，暗中在自己偶像的房間裏所做的嗎？因為他們說：『耶和華看不見我們；耶和華已經離棄這地。』」

祂又對我說：「人子啊，你看見以色列的長老在自己藏神像的房間裡暗中所做的了嗎？他們說，『耶和華看不見我們，祂已經拋棄了這片土地。』」

他對我說：“人子啊！以色列家的眾長老各在自己偶像的房間裡暗中所行的，你看見了嗎？他們說：‘耶和華看不見我們，耶和華已經離開這地了。’”

他對我說：『人子啊，以色列家的長老各在自己鏨像的屋裏暗中所行的、你看見了沒有？他們常說：「永恆主看不見我們；永恆主已經離棄了這地了。」』

彼諭我曰、人子歟、以色列家長老、各在暗中、繪像之室所行、爾見之乎、彼謂耶和華不見我、耶和華已棄斯土矣、

主諭我曰、人子盍觀以色列族長老、暗室所為、咸入偶像之所、自謂耶和華不加鑒察、耶和華已遐棄斯民。

主諭我曰、人子、以色列族之長老各在暗中、即在其繪像之室中所為、爾觀之乎、彼意謂主不見我、主已離棄斯地、

He said to me,“ Son of man, have you seen what the elders of Israel are doing in the darkness, each at the shrine of his own idol? They say,‘ The Lord does not see us; the Lord has forsaken the land.’”

The Lord spoke to me. He said,“ Son of man, do you see what the elders of Israel are doing in the dark? Each of them is in his own room worshiping his own god. They say,‘ The Lord doesn’t see us. He has deserted the land.’ ”

Then the Lord said to me,“ Son of man, have you seen what the leaders of Israel are doing with their idols in dark rooms? They are saying,‘ The Lord doesn’t see us; he has deserted our land!’”

He said to me,“ Son of man, do you see what the elders of the house of Israel are doing in the darkness, each at the shrine of his idol? For they are saying,‘ The LORD does not see us. The LORD has abandoned the land.’”

Then He said to me,“ Do you see, son of man, what the elders of the house of Israel are doing in the dark, each man in the rooms of his carved images? For they say,‘ The Lord does not see us; the Lord has abandoned the land.’ ”

Then He said to me,“ Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the room of his idols? For they say,‘ The Lord does not see us, the Lord has forsaken the land.’”

Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in his chambers of imagery? for they say, Jehovah seeth us not; Jehovah hath forsaken the land.

Then He said to me,“ Son of man, do you see what the elders of the house of Israel are doing in the darkness, each at the shrine of his idol? For they are saying,‘ The Lord does not see us. The Lord has abandoned the land.’”

Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, The LORD seeth us not; the LORD hath forsaken the earth.

He said to me,“ Do you see, son of man, what the elders of the house of Israel are doing in the dark, each in the chamber of his idolatrous images? For they think,‘ The LORD does not see us! The LORD has abandoned the land!’”

Then he said to me,“ Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in his rooms of imagery? For they say,‘ Yahweh doesn’t see us. Yahweh has forsaken the land.’”

Then he said to me,“ The guilt of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great. The land is full of blood, and the city full of injustice. For they say,‘ The Lord has forsaken the land, and the Lord does not see.’

Ah, you who hide deep from the Lord your counsel, whose deeds are in the dark, and who say,“ Who sees us? Who knows us?”

For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret.

Then he said to me,“ Have you seen this, O son of man? You will see still greater abominations than these.”

And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil.For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed.

He says in his heart,“ God has forgotten, he has hidden his face, he will never see it.”

“ There are those who rebel against the light, who are not acquainted with its ways, and do not stay in its paths.The murderer rises before it is light, that he may kill the poor and needy, and in the night he is like a thief.The eye of the adulterer also waits for the twilight, saying,‘ No eye will see me’; and he veils his face.In the dark they dig through houses; by day they shut themselves up; they do not know the light.For deep darkness is morning to all of them; for they are friends with the terrors of deep darkness.

And they say,“ How can God know? Is there knowledge in the Most High?”

“ Is not God high in the heavens? See the highest stars, how lofty they are!But you say,‘ What does God know? Can he judge through the deep darkness?

And before them stood seventy men of the elders of the house of Israel, with Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan standing among them. Each had his censer in his hand, and the smoke of the cloud of incense went up.

and they say,“ The Lord does not see; the God of Jacob does not perceive.”Understand, O dullest of the people! Fools, when will you be wise?He who planted the ear, does he not hear? He who formed the eye, does he not see?He who disciplines the nations, does he not rebuke? He who teaches man knowledge—

Then he said to me,“ Have you seen this, O son of man? Is it too light a thing for the house of Judah to commit the abominations that they commit here, that they should fill the land with violence and provoke me still further to anger? Behold, they put the branch to their nose.

In the seventh year, in the fifth month, on the tenth day of the month, certain of the elders of Israel came to inquire of the Lord, and sat before me.

Then certain of the elders of Israel came to me and sat before me.

And he said to me,“ Son of man, do you see what they are doing, the great abominations that the house of Israel are committing here, to drive me far from my sanctuary? But you will see still greater abominations.”And he brought me to the entrance of the court, and when I looked, behold, there was a hole in the wall.Then he said to me,“ Son of man, dig in the wall.” So I dug in the wall, and behold, there was an entrance.
